DYMA HYSBYSIAD bod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Rhondda Cynon Taf yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn, ar ôl o leiaf 7 diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad yma, o dan Adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984, fel y’i diwygiwyd gan Ddeddf Traffig Ffyrdd (Cyfyngiadau Dros Dro) 1991, a fydd yn para deunaw mis ar y mwyaf.

Mae cau’r ffordd yn angenrheidiol er mwyn dechrau’r gwaith ar Lwybr Teithio Llesol Rhondda Fach (sy’n d ilyn y cyfliniad blaenorol o Lwybr 881)

Effaith y gorchymyn fydd cau’r Llwybr Rhwydwaith Beicio Cenedlaethol 881, o bwynt sy’n 1.5 cilomedr i’r de-ddwyrain o Heol yr Orsaf, Y Maerdy tua’r ded dwyrain am bellter o 2.6 cilomedr.

Llwybr amgen - ar gael ger Stryd yr Orsaf, Stryd Rhydychen, Heol Maerdy, Crib-y-ddôl, Teras Ffaldau, Heol y Gogledd, Stryd Fawr, A4233 Heol y Dwyrain, H eol Llanwynno a Theras Isaf Fydd DIM mynediad ar gael i gerbydau’r gwasanaethau brys.

Bydd mynediad yn cael ei gynnal i gerddwyr y tu cefn i Stryd Taf, Blaenllechau, a lle bo modd, bydd mynediad i gerbydau hefyd yn cael ei gynnal.

Bydd mynediad i gerbydau a cherddwyr i’r Siop Atgyweirio Cerbydau y tu ôl i Stryd Taf hefyd yn cael ei gynnal, ac eithrio am gyfnod byr (yn ystod y diwrnod gwaith yn unig) pan fydd y llwybr beicio newydd yn cael ei gloddio a’i adeiladu.

Mae disgwyl i’r ffordd fod ar gau rhwng y dyddiadau canlynol neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau: -

RHONDDA CYNON TAFF COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL (NATIONAL CYCLE NETWORK ROUTE 881 – MAERDY TO STANLEYTOWN) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council, intends, not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, which will have a maximum duration of eighteen months.

The closure is necessary to facilitate construction of the Rhondda Fach Active travel Route (which follows the existing alignment of NCN 881)

The effect of the Order will be to close the National Cycle Network Route 881, from a point 1.5 kilometres south eastwards of Station Road, Maerdy, south eastwards for a distance of 2.6 kilometres

Alternative route - available via Station Street, Oxford Street, Maerdy Road, Highfield, Ffaldau Terrace, north Road, High Street, A4233 East Road, Llanwonno Road and Lower Terrace

Access WILL NOT be maintained for emergency services.

Access will be maintained for pedestrians to the rear of Taff Street, Blaenllechau, and where possible, vehicular access will also be maintained.

Vehicle and pedestrian access to the Vehicle Repair Shop at the rear of Taff Street will also be maintained, except for a short period of time (during the working day only) when the new cycle route is being excavated and constructed

The closure is expected to be in operation between the following dates, or until such time as the works has been completed: -

• Full closure between 15th July 2024 to 4th May 2025
