What is happening?

CHESHIRE WEST AND CHESTER BOROUGH COUNCIL NOTICE OF MAKING PTRO779 Queensway, Winsford (20 Mph Speed Limit) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that; on the 18 June 2024 the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council made the above Traffic Regulation Order in accordance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 which will come into force on 1 July 2024. The effect of the proposed order will be to prohibit any vehicle from exceeding 20 mph on the lengths of road specified in the schedule.

SCHEDULE

20 Mph Speed Limit Queensway - From its junction with Dene Drive to its junction with Way's Green. If you wish to question the validity of the order or any of its provisions on the grounds that any requirements of the Act or any instruments made under it has not been complied with, you may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.

NOTICE OF MAKING

TRO 749 A54 Chester Lane, Whitegate/Little Budworth (40 Mph Speed Limit) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that; on the 19 June 2024 the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council made the above Traffic Regulation Order in accordance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 which will come into force on 1 July 2024. The effect of the proposed order will be to prohibit any vehicle from exceeding 40 mph on the lengths of road specified in the schedule.

SCHEDULE

(40 Mph Speed Limit)

A54 Chester Lane - From a point 170 metres west of Blakeden Lane to a point 450 metres east of Clay Lane.

If you wish to question the validity of the order or any of its provisions on the grounds that any requirements of the Act or any instruments made under it has not been complied with, you may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court. ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC TRO7901 Yatehouse Lane in Shakerley Ward

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in Shakerley Ward to enable Gas valve maintenance works to be carried out by Cadent.

Yatehouse Lane - Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used for the conveyance of persons goods or merchandise to or from any premises situate on or adjacent to the lengths of road or in connection with agriculture building construction works of repair and the like or use in an emergency of vehicles for fire brigade ambulance or police purposes. A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use the alternative routes. The Order will come into force on 1st July 2024 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will take approximately 2 weeks to complete.

Alternative routes for through traffic - Traffic should proceed via King Street, Centurion Way, Centurion Way Roundabout, Byley Road, Drakelow Lane, Yatehouse Lane.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC TRO 7930 John Brunner Crescent in Northwich Winnington & Castle Ward

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council intends to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in Northwich Winnington & Castle Ward to enable excavation to replace 2 x link boxes works to be carried out by Scottish Power.

John Brunner Crescent - Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used for the conveyance of persons goods or merchandise to or from any premises situate on or adjacent to the lengths of road or in connection with agriculture building construction works of repair and the like or use in an emergency of vehicles for fire brigade ambulance or police purposes. A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use the alternative routes. The Order will come into force on 22nd July 2024 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will take approximately 2 weeks to complete.

CHESHIRE WEST AND TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC TRO7931 Abbey Lane Hartford in Hartford & Greenbank Ward

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council intends to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in Hartford & Greenbank Ward to enable excavation and reinstatement of joint bays works to be carried out by Scottish Power.

Abbey Lane - Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used for the conveyance of persons goods or merchandise to or from any premises situate on or adjacent to the lengths of road or in connection with agriculture building construction works of repair and the like or use in an emergency of vehicles for fire brigade ambulance or police purposes. A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use the alternative routes. The Order will come into force on 24th July 2024 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will take approximately 1 week to complete.

Alternative routes for through traffic - Traffic should proceed via Chester Road, School Lane, The Green, Riddings Lane, Abbey Lane.
