ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(STRANGLANDS LANE, KNOTTINGLEY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 140) 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds for resurfacing works to be carried out as follows:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Stranglands Lane, Knottingley from the A162 slip road to Kirkhaw Lane. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Stranglands Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Exit at A645 Pontefract Road, left onto A645 Pontefract Road to Hill Top, Ferrybridge Road, A162 slip road. Entering the A162 – Ferrybridge Road, Hill Top, Pontefract Road, A162 slip road.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 1st July 2024 to 3rd July 2024, between 19.00 hours and 06.00 hours or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(OLD GREAT NORTH ROAD, KNOTTINGLEY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 141) 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds for resurfacing works to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Old Great North Road, Knottingley for approximately 100 metres from A162 Ferrybridge to Pontefract Road. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Old Great North Road.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Stranglands Lane, Castleford Lane, Pontefract Road & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 1st July 2024 to 3rd July 2024, between 19.00 hours and 06.00 hours or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(BRADLEY STREET, CASTLEFORD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 146) 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to erect steel building at The Outlet to be carried out as follows:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Bradley Street, Castleford. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Bradley Street.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: St Oswald Street, Bank Street, Savile Road, Aire Street, Back Wesley Street & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 15th July 2024 to 20th July 2024 between 07.00 hours and 16.00 hours, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
