Notice is hereby given that Manchester City Council made the following Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The title and affect of the Orders will be as follows

City Of Manchester (Howgill Street, Bailey Street And Arbroath Street) (Prohibition Of Waiting, No Loading/Unloading And Amendment) Order 2024 No Waiting At Any Time on: Arbroath St - the north side from its junction with Howgill Street for a distance of 5 metres in a southeasterly direction.

The south side from its junction with Howgill Street for a distance of 5 metres in a south-easterly direction. Ashton New Rd - the south side from a point 5 metres north-west of its junction with Howgill Street in a north-westerly direction to a point 5 metres south-east of its junction with Howgill Street in a south-easterly direction.

Bailey St - both sides from its junction with Howgill Street for a distance of 5 metres in a south-easterly direction.

Howgill St - both sides from its junction with Ashton New Road for a distance of 10 metres in a south-westerly direction. the east side from a point 5 metres north-east of its junction with Bailey Street in a north-easterly direction to a point 5 metres south-west of its junction with Bailey Street in a south-westerly direction.

The north-west side from its northern extended kerbline of Arbroath Street for a distance of 12.5 metres in a south-westerly direction. The south-east side from its junction with Arbroath Street for a distance of 5 metres in a north-easterly direction.

The west side from a point 5 metres north-east of its junction with Ralph Street in a north-easterly direction to a point 5 metres south-west of its junction with Ralph Street in a south-westerly direction.

No Loading At Any Time on: Arbroath St - the north side from its junction with Howgill Street for a distance of 5 metres in a south-easterly direction. the south side from its junction with Howgill Street for a distance of 5 metres in a south-easterly direction.

Ashton New Rd - the south side from a point 5 metres north-west of its junction with Howgill Street in a north-westerly direction to a point 5 metres south-east of its junction with Howgill Street in a south-easterly direction.

Bailey St - both sides from its junction with Howgill Street for a distance of 5 metres in a south-easterly direction.

Howgill St - both sides from its junction with Ashton New Road for a distance of 10 metres in a south-westerly direction. the east side from a point 5 metres north-east of its junction with Bailey Street in a north-easterly direction to a point 5 metres south-west of its junction with Bailey Street in a south-westerly direction.

The north-west side from its northern extended kerbline of Arbroath Street for a distance of 12.5 metres in a south-westerly direction. The south-east side from its junction with Arbroath Street for a distance of 5 metres in a north-easterly direction.

The west side from a point 5 metres north-east of its junction with Ralph Street in a north-easterly direction to a point 5 metres south-west of its junction with Ralph Street in a south-westerly direction.

City Of Manchester (Howgill Street, Clayton and Openshaw) (20MPH Speed Limit) Order 2024 The Order shall introduce the following 20MPH Speed limit on the following roads for their entire length unless otherwise stated on:

Howgill St - for its entire length including the turning head. Existing Orders have been amended to be consistent with the proposals. The Order will come into operation on the 26th June 2024.

Copy of the made Order together with the plans showing the proposals may be inspected at Customer Service Centre Ground Floor, Town Hall Extension, M60 2LA (for Sat. Nav. use M2 5DB) between the hours of 9.00am and 4.30pm on Mon - Fri. Anyone wishing to question the validity of the Orders or any provision contained in them on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may within 6 weeks from 21st June 2024 apply to the High Court for such purpose.
