What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1) DUDLEY METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL (TEMPORARY ONE-WAY RESTRICTION) (STALLINGS LANE, KINGSWINFORD AND CINDER ROAD, LOWER GORNAL) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council have made an Order, the effects of which will be the temporary one-way restriction for eastbound traffic on: • Stallings Lane, Kingswinford; • Cinder Road, Lower Gornal (from the junction of Tansey Green Road to the junction of Himley Road). The purpose of the restrictions is to safely facilitate carriageway reconstruction works on or near the affected roads. The Order will come into force on Thursday 4th July 2024 and the works are anticipated to be completed on Friday 12th July 2024. The restrictions will be in force between 09:30am and 15:00pm each day. The Order may remain in force for a period of up to 18 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. Diversions for all westbound vehicular traffic shall be via: Himley Road, Dudley Road, Wolverhampton Road, and Stallings Lane; OR Himley Road, Coopers Bank Road, Smithy Lane, and Tansey Green Road.
