NOTICE OF PROPOSAL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(CASTLE STREET, CLITHEROE, RIBBLE VALLEY BOROUGH) (PEDESTRIAN CROSSING)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council propose under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the following:
1. Remove a zebra crossing in Castle Street, from a point 6.3 metres south west of its centreline junction with Market Place for a distance of 22.1metres in a south westerly direction.
2. Introduce an uncontrolled crossing in Castle Street, from a point 15.9 metres south west of its centreline junction with Market Place for a distance of 2.8 metres in a south westerly direction.
A copy of the relevant notice and plan indicating the location of the crossing may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of the Ribble Valley Borough Council, Council Offices, Church Walk, Clitheroe, BB7 2RA, and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, Fishergate, Preston, PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Councils Website http://www.lancashire.gov.uk/roads-parking-and-travel/roads/roadworks-and-traffic-regulation-orders/permanent.aspx.
