Public Notices for Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders
The following public notices shall be served on Thursday 27 June 2024:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends, to make the following traffic regulation Orders under Section 14(1) and 14(4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE 1:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (A509 (PART), OLNEY) (TEMPORARY 30 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2024 (Reference: TTRO-1947)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit on A509, Olney (from a point 75 metres south-west of its junction with Lime Street, for a distance of 450 metres in a south-westerly direction), whilst the Olney Riverfest Event takes place, between the hours of 11.00am and 2.30pm on Sunday 07 July 2024.
PUBLIC NOTICE 2:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (PATTISON LANE, WOOLSTONE) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024 (Reference: TTRO-2000)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Pattison Lane, Woolstone (Between Wilford Close and Allison Court), to enable National Grid to carry out new connection works, between 08 and 11h July 2024 (24 Hours).
Whilst the closure is in place the alternative route will be via Pattison Lane, Childs Way, Marlborough Street and Chaffron Way (and vice versa).
PUBLIC NOTICE 3:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (FOOTPATH 014 MOULSOE AND FOOTPATH 07 NEWPORT PAGNELL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024 (Reference: TTRO-1998)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit any access to and along the following Footpaths whilst construction works are being carried out nearby:
Footpath 14 Moulsoe;
Footpath 07 Newport Pagnell.
from its junction with Willen Road to its junction with Caldecotte Lane.
Whilst the above footpaths are closed the alternative route will be via Caldecotte Lane and Footpath 08 Newport Pagnell.
The temporary closure Order will come into effect on 10 July 2024.
The footpaths will remain closed for a period of 6 months.
PUBLIC NOTICE 4:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS IN BOW BRICKHILL, OXLEY PARK, STONY STRATFORD AND WOBURN SANDS) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024 (Reference: TTRO-1976)
The effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering, waiting or proceeding along the following lengths of road to enable Anglian Water to carry out maintenance and installation works:
1) Station Road, Bow Brickhill (Between its two junctions with Greenways).
The closure will be in effect from 29 July to 09 August 2024 (24 hours).
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Brickhill Street, Groveway, Newport Road and High Street (and vice versa).
2) Queen Street, Stony Stratford (Between numbers 16 and 30).
The closure will be in effect from 31 July to 02 August 2024 (24 hours).
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Wolverton Road and King Street (and vice versa)
3) Newport Road, Woburn Sands (From its junction with Hillway to its junction with Chantry Close).
The closure will be in effect from 22 July to 26 July 2024 (24 hours).
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Woburn Road, B5704, A507 and A421 (and vice versa).
4) Holden Avenue, Oxley Park – from its junction with Sinatra Drive to its junction with Swanson Drive.
The closure will be in effect from 29 to 31 July 2024 (24 hours).
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Tattenhoe Street, Childs Way, Hepburn Crescent, Fonda Meadows and Milland Way (and vice versa).
5) High Street, Stony Stratford - from its junction with York Road to its junction with Church Street.
The closure will be in effect from 22 and 23 July 2024 (24 hours).
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Queen Eleanor Street and Wolverton Road (and vice versa).
The following public notices shall be served on Thursday 27 June 2024:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 25 June 2024 made the following temporary traffic regulation Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE 5:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (REDWAY NP03, NEWPORT PAGNELL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024 (Reference: TTRO-2001)
The effect of the above Order will be to close the following lengths of redway between 01 July 2024 and 01 January 2025 (24 Hours) to enable WINVIC to carry out rising main works:
Redway NP03, Newport Pagnell (From its Junction with Tongwell Lane to its junction with the footway access to Tabard Gardens).
Whilst the redway is closed the alternative route will be via Ranelagh Gardens, Alexandra Drive, Redway NP04 Newport Pagnell and Tongwell Lane (Vice versa).
PUBLIC NOTICE 6:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (NEWPORT ROAD (PART), MOULSOE) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024 (Reference: TTRO-1971)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering, waiting or proceeding along the following length of road to allow removal of Bridge and diversion on to new bypass road:
Newport Road, Moulsoe (From a point 321 metres after its junction with London Road and continuing for a distance of 100 meters.
The closure will be in effect from 10:00pm on 03 July 2024 to 07:00am on 04 July 2024
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Newport Road, Cranfield Road, Moulsoe Road, Cranfield Road, Broughton Road, Fen Street and Portway (and vice versa).
Once the works have been completed that part of Newport Road will remain closed from 4th July 2024 – 30th January 2025 and the diversion route will be via a new bypass adjacent to Newport Road.
PUBLIC NOTICE 7:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (STANTON GATE, STANTONBURY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024 (Reference: TTRO-1975)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following part of road to allow Marjen Ltd to carry out swapping of existing mono-pole kit and the excavation of a cabinet bases to include associated ducting works.
For the purpose of the above Order, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter, wait in or proceed along the following length of road between 03 and 05 July 2024 and 08 and 10 July 2024 (24 Hours):
Stanton Gate, Stantonbury – from its junction with Marlborough Street to its junction with Crosslands.
Whilst the closure is in place the alternative route will be via Marlborough Street, Ashfield, Redbridge, Walsh’s Manor and Crosslands (and vice versa).

Public Notice for Permanent Traffic Regulation Orders
The following public notices shall be served on Thursday 27 June 2024:
PUBLIC NOTICE 8:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (BLEAK HALL, MILTON KEYNES) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council in exercise of its powers under Sections 1(1), 2(1), (2) and (3), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1) and (3), of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the above Traffic Regulation Order.
The general effect of the above proposed Order will be to introduce no waiting at time restrictions along parts of Chesney Wold and Summerson Road in Bleak Hall.
Milton Keynes City Council is now carrying out statutory consultation on the above proposal. Copies of the proposed Order, together with plans showing the general arrangements and a statement of reason, may be inspected on the Council’s website at: www.milton-keynes.gov.uk/consultations.
Any representations or objections to the proposals, together with the grounds upon which they are made, must be made in writing and sent to the Council’s Traffic Regulation Order Team at Milton Keynes City Council, Civic Offices, 1 Saxon Gate East, Central Milton Keynes, MK9 3EJ, or by email to TROteam@milton-keynes.gov.uk quoting reference TRO-410 and to be received no later than 18 July 2024. Any representations received will be taken into consideration before the implementation of the scheme.
