NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER
Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, intend to make an order the effect of which:
School Road, Wrington, North Somerset
Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2024
Date coming Into Force: 29 July 2024 - Ref: SW24.25-029
Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles, and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.
This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Bristol Water to cut off redundant supply. This will become operative on the 29 July 2024 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 1 day in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2024
Date coming Into Force: 29 July 2024 - Ref: SW24.25-87
Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles, and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of roads.
This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Openreach for visual structural and safety checks of manholes. This will become operative on the 29 July 2024 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the phased closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 1 night in duration between 8pm and 6am. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force for each phase of the works.

Date coming Into Force: 30 July 2024 - Ref: SW24.25-129
Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles, and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.
This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by National Grid to replace pole and tree trimming. This will become operative on the 30 July 2024 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 3 days in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Date coming Into Force: 15 July 2024 - Ref: SW24.25-083
Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles, and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.
This order was required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Wessex Water to repair sewer. This will become operative on the 15 July 2024 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 5 days in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Notice of Temporary Traffic Regulation Order
Footpath LA21/43, Yatton, North Somerset
Temporary Prohibition of Use by All Traffic Order 2024
Date coming Into Force: 5 August 2024 - Ref: SW24.25-125
Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, intend to make an order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to all traffic the lengths of Footpath LA21/43 specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works vehicles, works access, and as works permit for allotments and premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of footpath.
This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Yatton Parish Council for creating and surfacing an access road. This will become operative on the 5 August 2024 for a maximum period of six months. However, the phased closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works, which is anticipated to commence for Phase 1 on 5th August 2024 and for Phase 2 anticipated to commence 2 September 2024, with each phase to be of approximately 3 weeks in duration. The phase dates and duration are approximate and subject to the weather and progression of the works. Appropriate pedestrian and access traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Prohibition of Stopping, Waiting, Loading and Parking Places
(Consolidation) Order 2022 (Variation No.13) order 2024

Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council propose to make an order in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The general effect of the order shall be to amend parking restrictions (yellow lines), waiting, loading, and stopping in Weston-Super-Mare, Portishead, Long Ashton, Churchill, and Winscombe Parish Council areas. The extent of the proposals are described in the Schedule to this Notice which are split into the Parish Council Boundaries.
