U9711 SOUTHEND AVENUE TO OGLE DRIVE BLYTH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U9711 Southend Avenue To Ogle Drive from its junction with Haven Court heading north for a distance of 215 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 2nd July 2024 until the 2nd January 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 2nd July 2024 until the 4th July 2024 between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 2nd January 2025.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic travelling south will be via Fallow Park Avenue, Chester Grove and Southend Avenue.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic travelling north will be via Ford Drive and Albion Way.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carryout carriageway resurfacing works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
