C404 Barrington Road - Temporary Road Closure

C404 BARRINGTON ROAD BEDLINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER NO. 8 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C404 Barrington Road Bedlington for a distance of 40 metres, 20 metres either side of the level crossing in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 2nd July 2024 until the 3rd July 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from 23:00 hours on the 2nd July 2024 until 05:30 hours on the 3rd July 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the C406, C414, C404 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Centurion Site Services on behalf of Network Rail to carryout tamping and level crossing works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
