(TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the speed by vehicular traffic from 30 MPH down to 10 MPH on the following sections of roads in Lesbury in the County of Northumberland:
A1068 Lesbury Road To Alnwick Road from its junction with the B1339 heading in a southerly direction for a length of 147 metres.
A1068 Lesbury Road from its point with Lesbury Road to Alnwick Road heading in a south easterly direction for a length of 254 metres.
The Order is to be effective from the 7th July 2024 until the 8th December 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be restricted on the 7th July 2024 between the hours of 08:00 hours until 15:00 hours during this period.

The speed restriction has been requested by Northumberland County Council to allow convoy working. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
