Manor Lane footpath link - Prohibition of Pedestrians - EXTENSION
What is happening?
1. Sheffield City Council (Council) gives notice that the Secretary of State has granted an Extension to the Order made in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 and any other enabling powers over an area of the highway being Footpath between from Manor Lane to Manor Park Way.
2. The Extension to the Order was granted because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the said highway.
3. The Order made on 21 December 2023 was approved by the Secretary of State and an extension to the Order will continue in effect until 21 December 2024 or until completion of works, whichever is earlier.
4. While the Order is in operation: it will prohibit any pedestrian from travelling in the length of footpath as described in paragraph 1 to the Order.
5. The alternative route for the traffic affected by this Order will be via Manor Park Crescent, Manor Park Avenue.
