North Yorkshire Council, Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Various roads - Selby Area, Order 2024, No. 186 We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Green Lane, Selby, Highfield View, Barlby, School Road, Hemingbrough, Finkle Street, Hensall, King Rudding Lane, Riccall, Moor Lane (& Kirkgate) Sherbuirn In Elmet, Went Edge Road, Kirk Smeaton, Roth Hill Lane, Thorganby, Ferry Lane, Thorganby & Templar Close, Eggborough for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 24/06/24 & 30/09/24, due to spray injection patching. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. 30 Mph Speed Limit, Turnham Lane, Cliffe, Order 2024 Notice is hereby given that The North Yorkshire Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 84(1) & (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, the effect of which will be to prohibit any motor vehicle from travelling at a speed in excess of 30 mph on any length of road specified below:- Turnham Lane, from the current location of the 30mph speed limit on Turnham Lane to a point 230m East. A copy of the draft Order, together with a map showing the roads affected & a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton & at Selby Library, 52 Micklegate, Selby, North Yorkshire YO8 4EQ during normal office hours from 20/06/24 to 11/07/24 & also viewed online at

30 Mph (A1246 Fairburn) Order 2024 Notice is hereby given that The North Yorkshire Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 84(1) & (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, the effect of which will be to revoke any existing Traffic Regulation Order which imposes a speed in excess of 40 mph on the length of road specified in the table below whereby that length of shall cease to be subject to 40 mph & shall default to 30 mph. A1246 Fairburn, from the northern exit of the roundabout with the A1246/Great North Road/Rawfield Lane, Fairburn south for 800m including the southern roundabout and exit to Silver Street. A copy of the draft Order, together with a map showing the roads affected & a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton & on the Parish Notice Board at
Fairburn during normal office hours from 20/06/24 until 12/07/24 & also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map
