What is happening?

Warwickshire County Council

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

D10750 Brendon Way, Nuneaton
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between the junctions of Park Lane and Thorntons Way.
Reason for Order: Structural Patching and associated works, 08.00hrs-16.00hrs.
Order Commences: 16 July 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 16 July 2024.
Access & Diversion: Thorntons Way, Ansley Road, Park Lane and vice versa.
Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.

D1615 Burghley Close, Nuneaton
Order Effect: Road closed in its entirety from Chatsworth Drive.
Reason for Order: Structural patching work, closed 08.00hrs-16.00hrs.
Order Commences: 16 July 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 16 July 2024.
Access & Diversion: No suitable diversion. Access/Egress to be maintained where possible to businesses and residents only.
Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.

D1430 Newstead Close, Nuneaton
Order Effect: Road closed in its entirety with Chatsworth Drive.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching works, closed 08.00hrs-16.00hrs.
Order Commences: 16 July 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 16 July 2024.
Access & Diversion: No suitable diversion. Access/Egress to be maintained where possible to businesses and residents only.

D1623 Frances Crescent, Bedworth
Order Effect: Road closed between Margaret Avenue and Mount Pleasant Road.
Reason for Order: Structural patching works, closed 0800-1600 hrs.
Order Commences: 15 July 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 15 July 2024
Access & Diversion: Frances Avenue, Margarets Avenue and vice versa. Access/Egress to be maintained where possible to businesses and residents only.
Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.

Slade Close, Nuneaton
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from a point outside property number 3.
Reason for Order: To enable boundary box and meter installation works.
Order Commences: 18 July 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 19 July 2024
Access & Diversion: There is no available diversion.
Contractor: For STW, Chevron TM Ltd, Tel: 03300 080 820.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.

The Warwickshire County Council (Borough Of North Warwickshire) (Waiting Restrictions And On-Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) (Variation D) Order 2024

Warwickshire County Council propose to make the above-named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to vary the existing Warwickshire County Council (Borough of North Warwickshire) (Waiting Restrictions and On-Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2017, as described (by approximate measurements) in the Schedule below.

Exceptions to any waiting restrictions described in the Schedule below will permit waiting for the purposes of picking up and setting down passengers, loading and unloading goods, for vehicles displaying a disabled person’s badge and in connection with the maintenance of the road and the supply of gas, water or electricity.

A copy of the proposed Order, together with a copy of an Order to be varied, plans showing the lengths of road affected and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, are available on the Council’s website at https://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/news/20206/north-warwickshire-borough and at the Main Reception, Shire Hall, Market Place, Warwick during usual opening hours.

Schedule (Proposed No Waiting At Any Time)

Church Road, Hartshill

(i) North-west side, from a point 50 metres north-east of its junction with Hayes Road, north-eastwards for 64 metres.

(ii) South-east side, from a point 43 metres north-east of its junction with Victoria Road north-eastwards to the entrance to Hartshill School.

(iii) South-east side, from the centreline of the entrance to Hartshill School north-eastwards for 13 metres.
