What is happening?

NOTICE OF EXTENSION OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS ORDER

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14

FLINTSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 22 IN THE COMMUNITY OF BUCKLEY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2023

The above Order came into force from the 31 July 2023 for a period of 6 months, until and including 30 January 2024. The order has since been extended with the approval of the Welsh Government until and including 30 July 2024.

Notice is now hereby given that the said Order made by Flintshire County Council on the 25 July 2023 is hereby extended with the approval of the Welsh Government and will continue in force until and including 30 January 2025, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier.

The effect of the Order is that no person shall proceed in using that section of Public Footpath No.22 in the Community of Buckley from a point at NGR 327769 364686 for an approximate distance of 190 metres in a southerly direction to a point at 327726 364519. The reason for the continued closure is for public protection due an ongoing development and associated works by Medra Cyfyngedig. An alternative route will be provided from Cheshire Lane, alongside the playing fields and connecting back to Footpath 22 at NGR 327726 364519. AB/153925.

Daeth y Gorchymyn uchod i rym ar 31 Gorffennaf 2023 am gyfnod o 6 mis, hyd at ac yn cynnwys 30 lonawr 2024. Ers hynny, mae'r Gorchymyn wedi'i ymestyn gyda chymeradwyaeth Llywodraeth Cymru, hyd at, ac yn cynnwys, 30 Gorfennaf 2024. Rhoddir rhybudd drwy hyn bod y Gorchymyn uchod a wnaed gan Gyngor Sir y Fflint ar 25 Gorffennaf 2023 wedi ei ymestyn gyda chymeradwyaeth Llywodraeth Cymru, hyd at 30 lonawr 2025, ac yn cynnwys y dyddiad hwnnw, neu hyd y bydd y gwaith wedi'i gwblhau, pa bynnag un sydd gyntaf.

Mae'r Gorchymyn yn gwahardd cerddwyr rhag defnyddio'r rhan honno o Lwybr Troed Cyhoeddus Rhif 22 yng Nghymuned Bwcle o gyfeirnod grid NGR 327769 364686 am bellter o tua 190 metr i gyfeiriad y de at gyfeirnod grid 327726 364519. Mae angen cau'r llwybr am resymau gwarchod y cyhoedd oherwydd datblygiad parhaus a gwaith cysylltiedig gan Medra Cyfyngedig. Darperir llwybr amgen o Cheshire Lane ar hyd y caeau chwarae, gan ailymuno a Llwybr Troed 22 ar NGR 327726 364519. AB/153925.
