Ar yr 20fed dydd o Fehefin , 2024 gwnaed y Gorchymyn uchod gan Gyngor Gwynedd trwy ymarfer ei bwerau o dan y Ddeddf Rheoli Traffig y Ffyrdd 1984, fel y newidiwyd a phob pŵer galluogi arall ac ar ôl ymgynghori gyda Phrif Swyddog yr Heddlu yn unol â Rhan III o Atodlen 9 o Ddeddf Rheoli Trafnidiaeth Ffyrdd 1984.

Pan ddaw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar y 1af o Orffennaf, 2024 ei effaith fydd:-
1. Gwahardd a chyfyngu cerbydau rhag aros unrhyw amser ar yr ochr darn ffordd a bennir yn Atodlen 1 isod.
2. Defnyddir y rhan hynny o’r ffordd y cyfeirir ati yn Atodlen 2 isod fel safle parcio cerbydau personau anabl sydd yn arddangos bathodyn person anabl.
3. Diddymu cyfyngiadau aros ar yr ochr darn ffordd a bennir yn Atodlen 3 isod
4. Bydd eithriadau yn caniatáu aros o dan rhai amgylchiadau fel y nodi’r yn y Gorchymyn.

CYNGOR GWYNEDD
(PROHIBITION OF OVERNIGHT WAITING FOR MOTOR CARAVANS BETWEEN 11 P.M. AND 8 A.M. - 
Y FORYD, CAERNARFON, TWO LAYBYS ON THE A496, BARMOUTH AND LAYBY ON THE A497, CRICCIETH) ORDER 2024
On the 20th day of June, 2024 Cyngor Gwynedd made the above Order in exercise of the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and of all other powers them enabling and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order when it comes into force on the 1st July, 2024 will be to:-
1. Prohibit and restrict vehicles from waiting on the sides of lengths of the roads referred to in Schedule 1 hereto.
2. The part of road specified in Schedule 2 hereto shall be used as a parking place for a disabled person’s vehicle displaying a disabled person’s badge
3. Revoke the waiting restrictions on the sides of lengths of the roads referred to in Schedule 3 hereto.
4. Exceptions will permit waiting in certain circumstances as set out in the Order.

Full details are contained in the Order which, together with the maps showing the lengths of roads concerned and a statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order are available. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the ground that any regulations made under the act were not complied with in relation to the Order or any part of it may make application to the High Court for that purpose within six weeks of the date of publication of this notice.

On both sides of the road from a point 75 metres west of the entrance of the Coed 
Helen Recreational Ground and the termination of the double yellow lines travelling 
in a westerly direction to the entrance of Is-Helen Farm, for a total distance of 
approximately 727 metres.


BARMOUTH - LAYBY 1 ON THE A496
Class 1 Road
In its entirety on the northern side of the road, opposite the vehicular entrance to 
Aberamffra Harbour.

In its entirety on the southern side of the road from a point approximately
