What is happening?

STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(STAFFORD) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND LOADING AND PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2018 (AMENDMENT) NO. 27/2024

Staffordshire County Council on 25/6/24 made a Traffic Regulation Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce parking restrictions on Park Ave, Stafford. Documents may be examined during office hours at 1 Staffordshire Place, Tipping St, Stafford, ST16 2DH, and during opening hours at Rising Brook Library, Merrey Rd, Stafford, Staffordshire, ST17 9LX or at: www.staffordshire.gov.uk/trafficregulationorders. Persons questioning the validity or provisions of the Order on the grounds that such powers are not conferred by the Act, or that any requirement or instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date the Order was made apply to the High Court. The Order will commence on 1/7/24.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 25/6/24 made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit traffic along:

Clanford Rd, Great Bridgeford. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/ ?tm=138526859. The Order will come into operation on 27/6/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 28/6/24. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the cabling works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Trent Rd, Stone. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=138502528. The Order will come into operation on 27/6/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 01/7/24. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pressure relief valve service works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Oak Ln & Bradley Ln, Bradley. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/ ?tm=138605917. The Order will come into operation on 01/7/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 03/7/24. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the cabling works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along: Offleybrook Ln (Bishops Offley) Jacksons Ln (Offleybrook) Offleybrook Rd (Offleybrook) and Outlands Ln (Offleybrook). The Order will come into operation on 16/7/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 18/7/24. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the duct laying works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Grindley Ln, Grindley. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/ ?tm=138702352. The Order will come into operation on 12/7/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the BT pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Fillybrooks, Stone. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/ ?tm=138763601. The Order will come into operation on 16/7/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 18/7/24. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the Severn Trent Water pressure release valve works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC AND TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ENTRY

A34 Radford Bank, Radford Bank Access Road, A513 Weeping Cross, A34 Cannock Rd, Baswich Ln, Cycleway from St Leonards Avenue to Radford Bank including Associated Links, Wildwood Drive, Stafford. Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of roads:

Prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Baswich Ln in a one-way direction only (permitted direction of travel to be signed on site) Prohibit vehicles from proceeding on A34 Radford Bank, A34 Cannock Rd, A513 Weeping Cross and Baswich Ln, from their junctions with A513 Weeping Cross Islands.

Prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Wildwood Drive from its junction with A34 Cannock Rd.

Prohibit vehicles from entering Radford Bank Access Road eastern entrance from its junction with A34 Radford Bank.

Prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along the Cycleway from St Leonards Avenue to Radford Bank including associated Links, Stafford – from its junction with the Link Way from Osbourne Crescent to Cycleway between St Leonards Avenue and Radford Bank, Stafford.

Please note all roads listed above may be subject to full road closures in the event of unforeseen circumstances that may occur due to the nature of this scheme.

The Order will come into operation on 15/7/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 30/6/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the streetlighting, drainage, kerbing, pedestrian crossing, cycling improvements, footway and carriageway resurfacing works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – TEMPORARY 30 MPH SPEED RESTRICTIONS AND TEMPORARY NO PARKING RESTRICTIONS

Various locations, Oulton. Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 25/6/24 made an Order the effect of which is to:

Impose a 30 MPH speed restriction at the following locations:

• Kibblestone Rd approximately from the junction with Jubilee Drv to junction with Oulton Rocks

• Vanity Ln approximately from the junction with Longton Rd to 13 Vanity Ln Prohibit parking of any vehicle in that lengths outlined below unless the vehicle is being used in connection with the event; or unless the vehicle requires access to properties on the length of road or is being used for police fire brigade or ambulance purposes:

• Vanity Ln from the junction with Church Ln to approximately 13 Vanity Ln

• Church Ln from the junction with Vanity Ln to the junction with Kibblestone Rd

• Kibblestone Rd from the junction with Church Ln to approximately the junction with Oulton Rocks

• Rock Crescent in its entirety

The Order will come into operation on 03/7/24 and the said restrictions will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the restrictions will be lifted by 7/7/24. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the The Rising Festival 2024 has vacated, whichever is the earlier.
