What is happening?

WEST NORTHAMPTONSHIRE COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(WEEDON LOIS ROAD, WAPPENHAM)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Weedon Lois Road, Wappenham as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Weedon Lois Road, Wappenham from the junction of Highbridge Road to SD2.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during works on main.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on

3rd July 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for three days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Wappenham Road, High Street, Banbury Lane, Banbury Road, Magpie Road, School Street, Helmdon Road, Sulgrave Road, Wappenham Road and Helmdon Road.

(BLAKESLEY ROAD, ADSTONE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Blakesley Road, Adstone as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Blakesley Road, Adstone from the junction of Banbury Lane to Highfields Farm.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during repairs to an air valve.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 22nd July 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC; TEMPORARY

ONE-WAY; TEMPORARY CONTRAFLOW & TEMPORARY WAITING

& LOADING RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding, introduce a temporary one-way system, a temporary contraflow and temporary waiting and loading restrictions along those length of the various roads in Silverstone and Whittlebury as specified in the Schedule below.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restrictions are required for safety during the 2024 British Grand Prix.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on

5th July 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the roads will be restricted until 7th July 2024.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: As specified in the Schedule below.
