SOUTH AYRSHIRE COUNCIL (Various Roads , Troon) (Temporary Road Closure and One Way Systems ) Order 2024

On 20th June 2024 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) (b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, to facilitate the increased number of pedestrians and vehicles visiting The Open Championship at The Royal Troon Golf Club

Order will be implemented only at times when indicated by the display of appropriate speed limit signs in accordance with the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016, as amended.

SOUTH AYRSHIRE COUNCIL (Morris Road, Prestwick) (Temporary Road Closure & Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2024

On 20th June 2024 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (South Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow Carriageway Resurfacing

Temporary Road Closure – Morris Road, Prestwick, Full length.

No Waiting At Any Time - Morris Road, Prestwick, Full length The Order commences on 08 July 2024 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 08 July 2024 at 08:00 until 19 July 2024 at 17:00

The road is expected to be closed between 08:00 and 17:00 each day with it being open out-with these times.

The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained whenever possible and safe to do so.

An alternative route will be signed vvia Berelands Road onto Caerlaverock Road and return.

SOUTH AYRSHIRE COUNCIL ( Dalmilling Road, Ayr - Dalmilling) (Temporary Road Closure & Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2024

On 20th June 2024 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (South Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow Carriageway Resurfacing

Temporary Road Closure – Dalmilling Road, Ayr -For 520 metres.

No Waiting At Any Time - Dalmilling Road, Ayr - For 520 metres The Order commences on 15 July 2024 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 15 July 2024 at 08:00 until 29 July 2024 at 17:00

The road is expected to be closed between 08:00 and 17:00 each day with it being open out-with these times.

The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained whenever possible and safe to do so.

An alternative route will be signed via Dalmilling Road, Thornyflat Drive, Westwood Avenue, Mainholm Road and vice versa.
