Hamelin Way - Temporary Speed Limit to Allow Safe Working Space for Essential Works
What is happening?
BOROUGH OF TORBAY
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14 (1) - Temporary speed limit (Hamelin Way - Torquay) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Torbay Council proposes to make an Order under the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to introduce the following traffic restrictions:
20mph speed limit
| Hamelin Way (A380) | From the junction with Riviera Way (A3022) for a distance of 154m westwards for both the Paignton bound and Newton Abbot bound lanes. |
|---|---|
| Riviera Way (A3022) | From a point 25m west of its junction with Newton Road to its junction with Riviera Way. |
The Order is considered necessary to allow safe working space for essential works in this area.
This order will temporarily supersede the existing 40mph order in place.
The proposed Order will come into force on 8th July 2024 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 2 weeks or until such time that the works are completed (whichever comes first).
