Rear Charles Street & Milbourne Street, Blackpool - Temporary Prohibition of Traffic
What is happening?
THE BOROUGH OF BLACKPOOL
(REAR CHARLES STREET AND MILBOURNE STREET) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Blackpool Borough Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and all other enabling powers to provide safe access for demolition to take place on property on King Street. The effect of the Order will be to:
(a) Prohibit any vehicle from entering or proceeding in any direction along the length of the unnamed gated alleyway to the rear of King Street from its junction with the rear northern boundary of 12 King Street and its junction with the rear southern boundary of 22 King Street. Pedestrian access to premises shall be maintained at all times.
The proposed Order will commence on 15th July 2024 and continue in force for eighteen months or until the sooner completion of the aforesaid works. It is expected that the works will take 10 weeks.
