What is happening?

THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

MAIN STREET, MAPLEWELL ROAD, WOODHOUSE EAVES TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING & LOADING AT ANY TIME ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. It is expected that the Order will come into force on 13/07/2024 and have a maximum duration of 12 months. The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 3 weeks. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow Alliance GS Flood Solutions, on behalf of Severn Trent Water Ltd, to undertake valve & new Chamber installations, any other various utility works & Leicestershire County Council to carry out various highway maintenance works. The proposed diversion route will be via: Beacon Rd, Shepshed Rd, Joe Moores Ln, Maplewell Rd & vice versa.

SCHEDULE 1
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC
Main St between property 91 & property 109.

SCHEDULE 2
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING & LOADING AT ANY TIME
Maplewell Rd on both sides of the carriageway, between the junction of Main St to the junction of Hastings Rd.
