Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
TONBRIDGE & MALLING AREA
A26 TONBRIDGE ROAD, B2015 BOW ROAD & RED HILL, MAIDSTONE, ME18 5DD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow resurfacing works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of A26 Tonbridge Road, B2015 Bow Road & Red Hill, Wateringbury, on or after 15th July 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the crossroad with B2015 Bow Hill and Red Hill, between the hours of 20:00 and 05:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any A26 Tonbridge Road through traffic is via A26 Tonbridge Road, A228 Malling Road, A228 Ashton Way, A20 London Road, B2246 Hermitage Lane, B2246 Fountain Lane, A26 Tonbridge Road and vice versa.
The alternative route for any B2015 Bow Road through traffic is via B2015 Bow Road, B2015 Maidstone Road, A228 Maidstone Road Roundabout, A228 Seven Mile Lane, A26 Tonbridge Road and vice versa.
The alternative route for any Red Hill through traffic is via Red Hill, Wateringbury Road, Chapel Street, High Street, New Road, A20 London Road, A228 Ashton Way, A228 Malling Road, A228 Tonbridge Road, A26 Tonbridge Road and vice versa.
A227 TONBRIDGE ROAD, IGHTHAM, TN15 9BB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of A227 Tonbridge Road, Ightham, on or after 21st July 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Gibbons Place, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Ismays Road, High Cross Road, A227 Tonbridge Road and vice versa.
COMP LANE, PLATT, TN15 8NW (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Comp Lane, Platt, on or after 15th July 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Long Mill Lane and Boneashe Lane, between the hours of 08:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any clockwise through traffic is via Comp Lane, Beechinwood Lane, Long Mill Lane, Comp Lane and vice versa.
The alternative route for any anti-clockwise through traffic is via Comp Lane, Potash Lane, Long Mill Lane, Comp Lane and vice versa.
HIGH STREET & MILL STREET, SNODLAND, ME6 5AP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow level crossing maintenance works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of High Street & Mill Street, Snodland, on or after 18th July 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the level crossing, between the hours of 23:30 and 05:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for any through traffic and access will be maintained when it is safe to do so.
MALTHOUSE ROAD, STANSTED, TN15 7PH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Malthouse Road, Stansted, on or after 15th July 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Compass Cottage. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Malthouse Road, Pease Hill, South Ash Road, Hatham Green Lane, Plaxdale Green Road and vice versa.
MEREWORTH ROAD, WEST PECKHAM (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Mereworth Road, West Peckham, on or after 16th July 2024 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Yotes Court. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2016 Seven Mile Lane, Comp Lane, Long Mill Lane, The Hurst, Gover Hill, Forge Lane, Mereworth Road and vice versa.
ROBIN HOOD LANE, WALDERSLADE, ME5 9NJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow overhead cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Robin Hood Lane, Walderslade, on or after 17th July 2024 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside 230. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for any through traffic and access will be maintained when it is safe to do so.
SNOLL HATCH ROAD & ADDLESTEAD ROAD, EAST PECKHAM, TN12 5ED (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Snoll Hatch Road & Addlestead Road, East Peckham, on or after 17th July 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Strettit Farm and the junction of Tonbridge Road, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Snoll Hatch Road, Pound Road, Chidley Cross Road, Hatches Lane, Addlestead Road and vice versa.
