What is happening?
NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14
VARIOUS
Flintshire County Council has made an Order which prohibits any vehicle from proceeding in the following roads in the County of Flintshire:
1. A5119 King Street, Mold - between its junctions with King Street Roundabout and A5119 County Hall Traffic Lights
2. A5104 Mold Road, Broughton - between its junctions with Broughton Hall Road and Broad Oak Avenue
3. Foxes Drive, Garden City - between its junctions with B5441 Welsh Road and Manor Road
4. Manor Road, Garden City - between its junctions with Foxes Drive and A548 Sealand Road
5. A548 Eastbound Dual Carriageway, Flint - between its junctions with A5119 Aber Road and A5026
6. A541 Denbigh Road, Afonwen - from its junction with B5122 Caerwys Hill to County Boundary
7. B5121 Brynford Road, Brynford - between its junctions with Brynford Crossroads and A5026 Fron Park Road
8. Upper Aston Hall Lane, Hawarden - between its junctions with B5125 The Highway and Bennetts Lane
9. Wepre Lane, Connahs Quay - between its junctions with Ffordd Newydd and B5125 Village Road
10. A549 Dirt Mile, Dobshill - between its junctions with A550 Dobshill Roaundabout and Little Mountain Road
11. B5126 Mold Road, Northop Hall, Connahs Quay - between its junctions with B5125 and Ffordd Llanarth
12. Bryn Road, Mynydd Isa - between its junctions with Chambers Lane and Alltami Road
13. Mount Pleasant Road, Drury - between its junctions with Drury Lane and Burntwood Road
14. Ffordd Y Llan, Treuddyn - between its junctions with A5104 Corwen Road and Ffordd Y Rhos
15. Kinnerton Lane, Kinnerton - between its junctions with A5104 and Lesters Lane
The reason for the closure is to facilitate carriageway surface treatments with associated works by Flintshire County Council, Streetscene and Transportation.
The alternative route available for vehicles will be signed accordingly by the use of prescribed signs. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.
The Order comes into force on the 24 June 2024. The anticipated completion date for the works is 31 March 2025, subject to a maximum period of eighteen months. BG/FCC (TTRO) 1990060

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14
SHOTTON
Flintshire County Council has made an Order which prohibits any vehicle from proceeding in Henrietta Street, between its junctions with Caernarvon Close and Strickland Street, Shotton in the County of Flintshire.
The reason for the closure is to facilitate gas mains replacement works with associated works by Wales and West Utilities.
The alternative route available for vehicles will be signed accordingly by the use of prescribed signs.
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.
The Order comes into force on the 27 June 2024. It is anticipated that the road will only be closed for 4 weeks, or until the earlier completion of the works, subject to a maximum period of eighteen months. BG/FCC (TTRO) 1817937

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC NOTICE
FLINTSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14
HALKYN
The Flintshire County Council hereby intends not sooner than 7 days from the 21 June 2024 to make an Order which will prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in Unnamed Road, from its junctions with A55 (T) Westbound Dual Carriageway for an approximate distance of 400 meters, Halkyn in the County of Flintshire.
The reason for the closure is to facilitate cabling with associated works by Sunbelt Rentals on behalf of BT Openreach.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be signed accordingly by the use of prescribed signs. Pedestrian
access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.
It is anticipated that the Order will come into force on 7 July 2024, or as soon as possible thereafter. The road will only be closed for 6 nights, or until earlier completion of the works, subject to a maximum period of eighteen months. BG/FCC (TTRO) 1920368

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC NOTICE FLINTSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14
PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 18 IN THE COMMUNITY OF CONNAH'S QUAY
The Flintshire County Council hereby intends not sooner than 7 days from the 21st June 2024 to make an Order which will prohibit pedestrians from using a section of Public Footpath No.18 in the community of Connah's from a point next to No. 20 Highmere Drive at NGR 32822 36947 to its junction with Golftyn Lane at NGR 32809 36963.
The closure is necessary for Health and Safety reasons during construction of new development.
There is no Alternative route for pedestrians.
It is anticipated that the Order will come into force on the 5 July 2024, or as soon as possible thereafter. The footpath closure is expected to last for 6 months, subject to a maximum period of six months. AB/2055188

NOTICE OF PROPOSAL
THE FLINTSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
GOLFTYN LANE, KELSTERTON COURT, VERMEER CLOSE, GOLFTYN DRIVE, HAFOD CLOSE, HOLLY CLOSE, HALS CLOSE AND COLLEGE VIEW, CONNAH'S QUAY
PROPOSED PROHIBITON OF WAITING AT ANY TIME
Flintshire County Council propose to make an Order in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Traffic Management Act 2004, Part IV of Schedule 9 and all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to amend The Flintshire County Council (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement and Consolidation) Order 2013, so as to introduce:-1. 'No Waiting At Any Time' restrictions-:
a. At various locations on both sides of Golftyn Lane, Connah's Quay
b. At various locations on both sides of Golftyn Drive, Connah's Quay
c. At various locations on both sides of Kelsterton Court, Connah's Quay
d. At the junction of Golftyn Drive with Hafod Close, Connah's Quay
e. At the junction of Golftyn Drive with Holly Close, Connah's Quay
f. At the junction of Golftyn Drive with College View, Connah's Quay
g. At the junction of Golftyn Drive with Golftyn Lane, Connah's Quay
h. At the junction of Vermeer Close with Hals Close, Connah's Quay
i. At the junction of Golftyn Lane with Golftyn Lane, Connah's Quay
In all other respects the present provisions of the 'The Flintshire County Council (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement and Consolidation) Order 2013' will remain in force.
A copy of the Notice, the proposed Order, plans showing the roads affected by the proposal and a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be inspected during normal opening hours at Flintshire Connects, Wepre Drive, Connah's Quay CH5 4HA.
