TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS 2024 Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984

Norfolk County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, hereby give notice that:

(i) THEY PROPOSE TO MAKE Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders in respect of the following roads:

AYLSHAM - Abbots Lane from its junction with Drabblegate for 90m eastwards to facilitate works for a cadent gas connection from 1st to 14th July 2024 (may continue until 25th August 2024). Alternative route is via: Drabblegate, Banningham Road, Abbots Lane.

FLEGGBURGH - Stokesby New Road from its junction wth A1064 Main Road for 50m south eastwards to facilitate repairs of damaged parapet fencing on the 1st July 2024 (but may continue until 12th August 2024). GREAT YARMOUTH - Northgate Street from its junction with Garrison Road for 25m southwards to facilitate works for a new electrical connection. Traffic over the Road shall be prohibted/temporarily prohibited to park, stop, load, and/or unload from 1st to 9th July 2024 (may continue until the 20th August 2024. Alternative route is via: N/A.

HELLESDON - Gowing Road from its junction with Reepham Road to its junction with Meredith Road to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works from 2nd to 3rd July 2024 (may continue until 14th August 2024). Alternative route is via: Meredth Road, Cottinghams Drive, Reepham Road.

HELLESDON - Cottinghams Drive from its junction with Reepham Road to its junction with Meredith Road to facilitate junction surfacing works from 4th to 5th July 2024 (may continue until 14th August 2024). Aternatve route is via: Reepham Road, Gowing Road, Meredith Road.

REEPHAM - Kerdiston Road from its junction with Holly Lane for 500m south eastwards to facilitate duct laying works from 1st to 12th July 2024 (may continue until 23rd August 2024). Alternative route is via: Kerdiston Road, Forwater Road, B1145 Dereham Road/Station Road, Kerdiston Road.

SPROWSTON - Beeston Lane from its junction with A1151 Wroxham Road for 50m north westwards to facilitate works to create a new site entrance from 1st to 12th July 2024 (may continue until 23rd August 2024). Alternative route is via: Beeston Lane, B1150 North Walsham Road, A1270 Broadland Northway, A1^ Wroxham Road (Beeston St. Andrew, Rackheath, Sprowston).

TAVERHAM - A1067 Fakenham Road from 450m northwest of its junction wth Fir Covert Road for 150m north westwards to facilitate works for a new electrica connection from 2nd to 5th July 2024 (may continue until 16th August 2024). Alternative route is via: A1067 Fakenham Road, A1270 Broadland Northway, A140 Cromer Road/Holt Road/Boundary Road, A1067 Drayton High Road (Hellesdon, Horsford, Drayton, Horsham St. Faith and Newton St. Faith, Taverham, Attlebridge).

COLNEY - C183 Colney Lane from its junction with B1108 Watton Road for 660m southwards to facilitate surface dressing preparation works will be temporarily closed and shall be temporarily subject to the suspension of the one-way system (northbound) from 1st to 7th July 2024 only whilst signs indicating restrictions are in place (may continue until 18th August 2024). DEOPHAM - 78078 Morley Road from 378m southeast of its junction with C783 The Green for 30m westwards to facilitate pole and cable replacement works from 2nd to 3rd July 2024 (may continue until 14th August 2024). WORTWELL - C361 Low Road from 60m south of its junction with U71394 Sandcroft Way for 90m southwards to facilitate connection works by UK Power Network from 2nd to 5th July 2024 (may continue until the 16th August 2024). SANDRINGHAM - Lynn Road from 210m west of its junction with West Newton Road for 50m westwards to facilitate carriageway patching works between 19:00 and 23:00 on 27th June 2024 (may continue until the 8th August 2024). Alternative route is via: Lynn Road, Queen Elizabeth Way, Hillington Road, Sandringham Road (Hillington, Roydon, Congham, Castle Rising, Flitcham with Appleton, Sandringham).

Unless otherwise stated, the effect of these Orders will be to prohibit the use by vehicles of the named road(s)/footpath(s). In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance. Where an Order is for a reason other than works it is because of the likelihood of danger to the public or of serious damage to the road/footpath.

Anticipated dates are stated but the Orders may continue until the end date where necessary or required.

The Orders are revoked on the end date or on the actual date of removal of the prohibition/restriction where earlier without further notice. If necessary, the restrictions can have a maximum duration of 18 months for vehicular highway or 6 months for non-vehicular highway.
