Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under section 84(1)(a) and (2), and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
Effect of the order: To Implement: '20mph Zone'.
Road: Armada Drive
Description: From its junction with Safrano Avenue for its entire length, including any turning heads.
Road: Bettina Close
Description: From its junction with Elina Road for its entire length, including any turning heads.
Road: Elina Road
Description: From its junction with Safrano Avenue for its entire length, up to and including its junction with Bettina Close, including any turning heads.
Road: Nevada Close
Description: From its junction with Safrano Avenue for its entire length, including any turning heads.
Road: Safrano Avenue
Description: From a point approximately 20 metres east of its junction with the A134 Nayland Road and Wildeve Avenue, northeast and east for approximately 215 metres.

(Colchester City) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and
(On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area)
(Amendment No.51) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given Colchester City Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 1st July 2022 has made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(1), 4(2), 32, 35, 45, 46, 49 and 53 and Parts III and IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the Order:
1. To introduce double red lines (No Stopping At Any Time) in Cowper Crescent, McCluskey's Street, Stanford Road and Parr Drive, Colchester.
2. To replace double yellow lines (No Waiting At Any Time) with double red lines
(No Stopping At Any Time) on Parr Drive at its junction with Dugard Avenue, Colchester.
3. To introduce a single red line (No Stopping Mon-Sat 8am-6pm) on Parr Drive, Colchester.
4. To replace the single yellow line (No Waiting Mon-Sat 8am-6pm) with double yellow lines (No Waiting At Any Time) on Brunel Way at its junction with Heckworth Close, Colchester.
5. To introduce double yellow lines (No Waiting At Any Time) in Brunel Way, Colchester and Melrose Road, West Mersea.
6. To introduce resident permit parking at any time (zone MWD1) in Westwood Drive, West Mersea (all properties in Westwood Drive will be able to purchase 2 parking permits and unlimited visitor permits)
7. To amend The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 to allow properties detailed in column 3 of the table in schedule 1 of this notice to be able to purchase permits for the zone listed in column 1 of that table.
This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by replacing tile numbers TL995 270, TL995 267, TL965 237, TL960 237, TM010 285 and TM020 125 revision 0 with revision 1; and replacing tile numbers TM010 127 and TM010 125 revision 1 with revision 2.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on Monday 5th August 2024.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) and 22(c) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the following lengths of road in the City of Colchester:
Road: Abbeyfield View (Both junctions), Colchester.
Description: From Circular Road South, south for approximately 50 metres.
Road: Berechurch Road, Colchester
Description: From Circular Road South, northeast for approximately 80 metres to Circular Road East.
Road: Circular Road East, Colchester
Description: i. From Berechurch Road, north for approximately 272 metres.
ii. From Circular Road North/Flagstaff Road/Napier Road, southeast for approximately 196 metres.
Road: Circular road North, Colchester
Description: From Napier Road & Flagstaff Road, west for approximately 705 metres to Circular Road West.
Road: Circular Road South, Colchester
Description: From Berechurch Road, west for approximately 677 metres to Circular Road West.
Road: Circular Road West, Colchester
Description: i. From Circular Road North, north for approximately 205 metres to Butt Road.
ii. From Butt Road, south for approximately 520 metres to Circular Road South.
Road: Goojerat Road, Colchester
Description: From Circular Road west, west for approximately 195 metres to Kensington Road.
Road: Richmond Road, Colchester
Description: From Circular Road West, west for approximately 50 metres
Road: Stable Road, Colchester
Description: From Circular Road North, northwest for approximately 70 metres.
Road: Ypres Road, Colchester
Description: From Circular Road South, south for approximately 50 metres.
2. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the event. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.
The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Waiting Restriction) (Consolidation) Order 2008 will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The temporary stopping restrictions are scheduled to commence 8am on 28 June 2024 to 8pm on 29 June 2024 and the closures are scheduled to commence on 29 June 2024 between the hours of 8am to 8pm and are required for public safety while the 16 Air assault brigade and Colchester Garrison Show 2024 takes place.
Resident egress will be accommodated from Ypres Road and Abbeyfield view to be controlled by a marshal/steward; however, no vehicle re-entry will be accommodated whist road is physically closed.
Resident vehicle and pedestrian egress and Ingress will be accommodated into Cavalry Road estate by opening (with consent of developer tbc) access gate that opened onto Circular Road West 50 metres south of junction with Butt Road.
The Order will come into effect 28 June 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the event has been completed.
(Coppice Road, Alresford)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Coppice Road, Alresford in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Station Road to its junction with Laxton Road a distance of approximately 355m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th July 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2363929 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gully and frame replacement works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Laxton Road, Coach Road, St Osyth Road, Station Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 27th June 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Copt Hall Lane, Little Wigborough)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Copt Hall Lane, Little Wigborough in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 500m south east of its junction with Peldon Road for a distance of approximately 20m in a south westerly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th July 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03164081231 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while stoptap replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
No alternative route available (access only into Copt Hall Lane).
The Order will come into effect on 27th June 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Landermere Road, Thorpe-le-Soken in the District of Tendring, from its junctions with High Street/Abbey Street Roundabout for a distance of approximately 45m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th July 2024 for 1 night (19:00-06:00), or where stated on a valid permit (BC008OGEA76778525 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via High Street, Colchester Road, Tendring Road, Thorpe Road, The Street, School Road, Clacton Road, The Green, Heath Road, Mistley Road, Horsley Cross Roundabout, A120, Church Hill, Ramsey Road, Oakley Road, Harwich Road, Clacton Road, High Street, School Road, Beaumont Road, Cross Hill, Harwich Road, Landermere Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 27th June 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Lower Green, Wakes Colne)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Lower Green, Wakes Colne in the City of Colchester District, from a point of approximately 160m north west of its junction with Bures Road for a distance of approximately 40m in northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th July 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03164145276 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while stoptap replacements works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Middle Green, Inworth Lane, Bures Road and vice versa (with access only into Lower Green).

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Old Ipswich Road, Ardleigh in the District of Tendring, from its junction with A120 for a distance of approximately 100m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th July 2024 for 5 nights (20:00-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (XJ002TDG19174-WHP3UK-SL3 - Hutchison 3G Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole installation works are undertaken by Hutchison 3G Ltd.
An alternative route is available via A120 Eastbound to Hare Green Roundabout, A120 Westbound to Ardleigh Crown Interchange, A12 Northbound, Park Lane, Wick Road, Birchwood Road and A12 southbound.
The Order will come into effect on 27th June 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Station Road, Alresford in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 5m north of its junction with Poundfield Close for a distance approximately 45m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st July 2024 for 1 night (00:01-07:00) or where stated on a valid permit (KL701COC-57-2-210424 - Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while track repair works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Peters Street, Colchester in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 40m west of its junction with Middle Mill Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th July 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD01310749741 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new water connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
Alternative routes are available via:
1. Short Cut Road, Northgate Street (with access only into Middle Mill Road, St Peters Road) - Eastbound Only.

(Temporary Introduction of a 40 MPH Speed Restriction) (No.10) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those lengths of road in the District of Tendring/City of Colchester as specified in the Schedule.
2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of the carriageway on the above lengths of road, for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
3. To temporarily introduce a 40MPH Speed restriction in that length of Colchester Road, Elmstead/Clingoe Hill, Colchester (both directions) from the junction with Tye Road to the junction with B1027 a distance of approximately 2230m.
"The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time" restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
