Temporary Road Closure & Parking Suspensions Various Roads, Eastleigh, Utilita Bowl Schedule 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow Utilita Bowl to host events safely between Saturday 6th July 2024- Saturday 16th November 2024.

ROADS TO BE CLOSED: those parts of the following roads: (See Schedule Below)

  1. B3035 Botley Road from the Moorgreen Road roundabout to the Tollbar Way roundabout.
  2. Charles Watts Way (towards junction 7 only) between its junction with Kanes Hill Roundabout and its junction with Hedge End Interchange Junction 7.

PARKING SUSPENSION, Eastleigh, Utilita Bowl – During the event time(s) a parking suspension which will be enforced by a coning scheme will be imposed on the following road:

    1. West End Road, Eastleigh between its junction with Woodland Mews and its junction with Littlewood Gardens.
    2. Beacon Road, Eastleigh between its junction with West end Road and its junction with Southern Road.
    3. Southern Road, Eastleigh between its junction with Moorhill Road and its junction with Western Road.
    4. Telegraph Road, Eastleigh between its junction with Moorhill Road and its junction with Western Road.
    5. Western Road, Eastleigh between its junction with Southern Road and its junction with Telegraph Road.
    6. West End Road, Eastleigh between its junction with Littlewood Gardens and its junction with Ingersley Rise.
    7. Telegraph Road, Eastleigh between its junction with Kenilworth Gardens.
    8. Kenilworth Gardens, Eastleigh between its junction with Telegraph Road.
    9. Crabwood Drive and Hilldene Way, Eastleigh between its junction with B3035.
    10. 10.Severn Way and Woodlea Gardens, Eastleigh between its junction with St James Road.
    11. St James Road, Eastleigh between its junction with Hope Road and its junction with Chapel Road.
    12. 12.Hope Road, Eastleigh between its junction with St James Road and its junction with Chapel Road.
    13. 13.Baltic Road, Eastleigh between its junction with B3055 and its junction with Moorgreeen Road.
    14. 14.Moorgreen Road, Eastleigh between its junction with Old School Gardens and its junction with Jukes Walk.
    15. 15.Chapel Road, Eastleigh between its junction with St James Road and its junction with Hope Road

Duration of the order: on 6th July 2024 -16th November 2024 or until the event has ended, whichever is sooner. Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out. except for the period of pedestrian egress at the end of the event (approx.1 ½ hours), during which time all vehicular access will be unavailable.
