VARIATION OF RESIDENTS’ PERMIT PARKING CHARGES NOTICE (NO. 14) 2024

The City of Edinburgh Council in exercise of their powers under Section 46A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, by Act of Council of 22 February 2024 have varied the parking charges set out in Schedule 6, and applying to the permit and shared use parking places in the roads with the zone listed below, as depicted on the relevant map tile and payable in terms of, Part 5 of the City of Edinburgh Council (Traffic Regulation; Restrictions on Waiting, Loading and Unloading, Stopping and Parking Places) Designation and Traffic

Regulation Order 2018. The effect of the variation will be to amend the charges set out in Schedule 6 in the permit parking places depicted on the relevant map tile, as follows Vehicles registered prior to March 2001 will have charges applied in relation to engine size.

Vehicles registered after March 2001 will have charges applied in relation to CO2 emissions. Further information on the background to this year’s permit price changes can be found at www.edinburgh.gov.uk/trafficorders
