(WHITE ROSE AVENUE, DALTON, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the following lengths of road in Dalton as follows:-
Road Closure
White Rose Avenue - at a point outside property no. 13
Point Closure
Myers Croft - at its junction with White Rose Avenue
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via White Rose Avenue, Tolson Crescent, Long Lane, Dalton Green Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on Tuesday, 9th July 2024 between 11:30 - 15:30 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(HOLLOWGATE, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Hollowgate, Holmfirth from a point outside property no. 1 to a point outside Holmfirth Mills PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Hollowgate, Huddersfield Road, Victoria Street and vice versa.
To facilitate the diversionary route the existing One Way Traffic restrictions on Hollowgate which relate to this closure will be temporarily suspended for the duration of the closure (i.e traffic will be two way).
It is intended that the closure will operate on Sunday, 7th July 2024 between 09:30 - 13:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(OLDFIELD ROAD, HONLEY, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Oldfield Road, Honley from a point outside property no. 51 to a point outside property no. 57 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Oldfield Road, Cross Lane, Bradshaw Road, Long Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on Monday, 8th July 2024 between 11:30 - 15:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(GUNTHWAITE LANE, UPPER DENBY, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Gunthwaite Lane, Upper Denby from a point outside property no. 1 to its junction with Denby Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Denby Lane, Lower Denby Lane, Barnsley Road, Coach Gate, Gunthwaite Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 8th July 2024 and remain in force until 10th July 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(MEG LANE, LONGWOOD, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Meg Lane, Longwood from its junction with Longwood Road to a point outside property no. 15 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Longwood Road, Lower Gate, Meg Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 8th July 2024 and remain in force until 12th July 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(RAVENSKNOWLE ROAD, DALTON, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Ravensknowle Road, Dalton from its junction with Almondbury Bank to its junction with Wakefield Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Almondbury Bank, Wakefield Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 8th July 2024 and remain in force until 17th July 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(EASTLANDS, ALMONDBURY, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Eastlands, Almondbury from its junction with Hurst Knowle to its junction with Southfield Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Hurst Knowle, Southfield Road and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 8th July 2024 and remain in force until 17th July 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(PROSPECT ROAD, LONGWOOD, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Prospect Road, Longwood from its junction with Longwood Gate to its termination point PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
There is no alternative diversionary route available. Access maintained for residents and Emergency Service Vehicles only. It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 8th July 2024 and remain in force until 21st July 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(STOCKS WALK, ALMONDBURY, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Stocks Walk, Almondbury, Huddersfield from a point outside The Wesley Centre to a point outside Almondbury Library PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Cemetery Road, Westgate, Stocks Walk and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on Tuesday, 9th July 2024 between 09:00 - 13:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(DAM HILL, SHELLEY, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Dam Hill, Shelley from its junction with Beckside Bridge to its junction with Thunder Bridge Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Dam Hill, Penistone Road, Thunder Bridge Lane and vice versa. (GIBSON STREET, OAKES, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Gibson Street, Oakes from a point outside property no. 29 to its junction with New Hey Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Gibson Street, Baker Street, Acre Street, New Hey Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on Wednesday, 10th July 2024 between 19:00 - 23:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(INTAKE ROAD, SLAITHWAITE, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Intake Road, Slaithwaite from Moor Gate to a point approximately 100 metres south east of Moor Gate PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Intake Road, Tiding Field Lane, Moor Side Lane, Laund Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday, 9th July 2024 and remain in force until 10th July 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(LONG LANE, FLOCKTON, WAKEFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Long Lane, Flockton from its junction with Haigh Lane to its junction with Moor Top Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Windmill Hill Lane, Lenacre Lane, Moor Top Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday, 10th July 2024 and remain in force until 24th July 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(PARK SIDE, FLOCKTON, WAKEFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Park Side, Flockton from its junction with Barnsley Road to its termination point PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

(STRIKE LANE, SKELMANTHORPE, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Strike Lane, Skelmanthorpe from a point outside property no. 7 to a point outside property no. 11 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

(UNRECORDED PROW BETWEEN DEN/28/10 AND MARSDEN STREET, SKELMANTHORPE, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the footpath intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in that length of unrecorded PROW between Public Footpath DEN/28/10 and junction with Marsden Street, Skelmanthorpe PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out the proposed works.
Alternative routes for persons affected by the closure will be available via DEN/28/10, Access to 90-96 Staton Road, Station Road, Saville Road, Marsden Street and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Friday, 12th July 2024 and remain in force until 30th November 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 6 months if necessary).

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Choppards Lane, Cartworth Moor from a point outside 1-4 Choppards Lane to its junction with Arrunden Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

(TOWN GATE, HIGHBURTON, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Town Gate, Highburton from a point outside property no. 1a to its junction with Far Dene PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Station Lane, Berry Brow from its junction with Birch Road to its junction with School Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via School Lane, Bridge Street, Newsome Road South, Birch Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday, 25th June 2024 and remain in force until 28th June 2024 between 23:00 - 06:00 hours each day (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(OUT LANE, NETHERTHONG, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Out Lane, Netherthong from its junction with Giles Street to its junction with Town Gate PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Giles Street, Church Street, Town Gate and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Friday, 28th June 2024 and remain in force until 26th July 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(SHAW LANE, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Shaw Lane, Holmfirth from a point outside “Beeches” to a point to the side of property 8 Long Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Shawfield Avenue, Woodside View, Burnlee Road, Greenfield Road, Woodhead Road, Shaw Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 24th June 2024 and remain in force until 25th June 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
