Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (U54280 Manor Road/U54280 Priory Road/ U54280 Earlsdon Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of Closure 1: U54280 Manor Road from its junction with U54268 Hanbury Park Road to its junction with U54280 Priory Road. Closure 2: U54280 Priory Road from its junction with U54280 Manor Road to its junction with U54280 Earlsdon Road. Closure 3: U54280 Earlsdon Road from its junction with U54280 Priory Road to its junction with U54268 Hanbury Park Road.
Reason: Replacement gas main by Cadent Gas.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U54268 Hanbury Park Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 26 days (24 hrs). Commencing: 24 June 2024.
(A449 Ombersley Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of A449 Ombersley Road from its junction with U50319 Northwick Road to its junction with A38 Droitwich Road.
Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Diversion Anticlockwise: A38 Droitwich Road, A4536 Hurst Lane, A4536 Blackpole Road, A449 Worcester Northern Link, A449 Ombersley Road.
Diversion Clockwise: A449 Ombersley Road, A449 Worcester Northern Link, A4536 Hurst Lane, A38 Droitwich Road.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 night (17:00-23:00). Commencing: 23 June 2024.
(C2220 Squires Walk, Kempsey) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2220 Squires Walk from its junction with C2220 Old Road South to its junction with U60016 Squires Close.
Reason: Hydrant renewal by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2220 Old Road South, A38 Main Road, C2220 Squires Walk (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 15 July 2024.
(U62205 Berrow Green/U62204 Berrow Green, Martley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of Closure 1: U62205 Berrow Green from its junction with B4197 Berrow Green to its junction with C62205 Easinghope Lane. Closure 2: U62204 Berrow Green from its junction with U62205 Berrow Green to its junction with U62204 Doddenham.
Reason: Surface Dressing by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: B4197 Berrow Green, C2066 Berrow Green, C2235 Haynes Green, C2235 Doddenham, C62205 Easinghope Lane.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days between 12 July 2024 and 26 July 2024.
(U50213 Beech Avenue, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U50213 Beech Avenue for its entire length from its junction with A38 Droitwich Road.
Reason: Replacement gas main by Cadent Gas.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Diversion Westbound: B4482 Bilford Road, A38 Droitwich Road and vice versa. Diversion Eastbound: B4482 Bilford Road, U50200 Wordsworth Avenue, U50207 Longfellow Road, U50209 Blanquettes Avenue, A38 Droitwich Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 19 days (24 hrs). Commencing: 15 July 2024.
(U51309 Sycamore Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U51309 Sycamore Road from its junction with U51312 Laurel Road to its junction with U51309 Highland Road.
Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U51312 Laurel Road, U51306 Tunnel Hill, U51309 Highland Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 11 July 2024.
(U50132 Raglan Street/U50132 Sunnyside Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of: Closure 1 U50132 Raglan Street from its junction with U50132 Sunnyside Road to its junction with U50220 Gregorys Mill. Closure 2 U50132 Sunnyside Road from its junction with U50132 Raglan Street to its junction with a38 Barbourne Road.
Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

(B4197 Hipplecote, Martley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of B4197 Hipplecote from its junction with U64618 Horsham to its junction with U62206 Easinghope Lane.
Reason: Surface deterioration remedial works by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

(A38 Main Road, Kempsey) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of A38 Main Road from its junction with U60024 Windmill Lane to its junction with U60003 Brookend Lane.
Reason: Puffin crossing installation and carriageway resurfacing by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

(A449 The Village, Powick) (Temporary Closure) and (One-Way) on (A449 Malvern Road) (Temporary Suspension) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of A449 The Village from its junction with U62017 Churchill Lane for a distance of 270 metres to its junction with A449 Malvern Road. The One-way relating to the section of highway on A449 Malvern Road from its junction with A449 The Village to its junction with U62020 Kings End Road is temporarily suspended to enable two-way traffic to follow the proposed diversion route for the duration of the order.
Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Diversion 1: A449 Malvern Road and vice versa. (B4482 Astwood Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of B4482 Astwood Road from its junction with U51025 Church Road to its junction with U51026 Vauxhall Street.
Reason: New customer connection by Cadent Gas.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

(U50024 Sharman Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U50024 Sharman Road from its junction with A38 Barbourne Road to its junction with U50021 Woodbine Road.
Reason: Replacement of damaged streetlight by Prysmian Cables & Systems.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Please note: there is no access for emergency vehicles, please use diversion route.
Alternative route: A38 Barbourne Road, U50020 Barbourne Terrace, U50021 Woodbine Road, U50024 Sharman Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 16 July 2024.
(C2068 Moseley Road, Hallow) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of C2068 Moseley Road from its junction with C2069 Worlds end to its junction with A443 Main Road.
Reason: Install/uplift kerbs by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A443 Main Road, C2256 Dark Lane, C2256 Sinton Green, C2069 Sinton Green, C2069 Worlds End and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 24 June 2024.
(A44 Broadwas) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of A44 Broadwas from its junction with C2240 Weston Hill for a distance of 380 metres in a westerly direction.
Reason: Carriageway Resurfacing by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A44 Broadwas (part), A44 Doddenham, A44 Bromyard Road, A44 Worcester Road, (into Herefordshire), A4103 Storridge, A4103 Leigh Sinton, A4103 Bransford, A44 Bromyard Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:
2 nights (19:00-06:00) between 15 July 2024 and 27 July 2024.
(U50112 Chestnut Street & Lower Chestnut Street, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) and the Worcestershire County Council (Chestnut Street) (One-Way Traffic) Order 2000 (Temporary Suspension) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of Closure 1: U50112 Chestnut Street from its junction with C2294 Chestnut Walk to its junction with U50112 Lower Chestnut Street and to temporarily suspend the Worcestershire County Council (Chestnut Street) (One-Way Traffic) Order 2000 to allow two-way access for residents and businesses for the duration of the works. Closure 2: U50112 Lower Chestnut Street from its junction with U50112 Chestnut Street to its junction with U50106 Little Chestnut Street.
Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2294 Chestnut Walk, C2294 Sansome Walk, U50108 Northfield Street, U50106 Little Chestnut Street.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 11 days between 24 June 2024 and 17 July 2024.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (Footpath BQ-509 Besford) (Temporary Closure Order) 2024
Order made: To close Footpath BQ-509 Besford for its entire length.
The Order has been made due to a dangerous footbridge.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Easterly on footpath BQ-521 to grid ref: 392070, 245967 then south westerly on footpath BQ-528 and vice versa.
The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months continuing on from 6 June 2024.
