What is happening?

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all users: A) Bridleway 9 (Part), Bremhill; from its junction with Bridleway 37, Lyneham to its junction with Bridleway 36, Lyneham. B) Bridleway 49 (Part), Bremhill; from its junction with Bridleway 9, Bremhill for a distance of approximately 155m in a south westerly direction. C) Bridleway 36 (Part), Lyneham; from its junction with Bridleway 9, Bremhill for a distance of approximately 650m in a north easterly direction to enable clearance and removal of Ash Trees and associated works. No alternative route available. The closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This closure which was due to finish on 28 June 2024 will now continue into force until 28 December 2024. It is anticipated the closure will be required for 06 months. The Order has a maximum duration of 06 months. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) High Street (Part), Ogbourne St George; from its property known as The Elms for a distance of approximately 20m in a south easterly direction to enable Thames Water to carry out short service pipe relay including fitting carriageway. Alternative route via Chiseldon Road

- Draycot Lane - The Ridgeway - Marlborough Road -Thamesdown Boundary Near Chiseldon Camp South East To High Brow Ogbourne St George A346 - High Street Brow - Main Road Ogbourne St Andrew North East Around Ogbourne St George To Copse Drove - A346 North East To Bottom Lane - High Street (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 17 July 2024 and the closure will be required for 3 days. For further information please contact Thames Water on 07747 648554. B) C118 (Part), Calne Without and Calne; from outside its property known as Fishers Brook House to its junction with A3102 to enable Openreach to carry out works to remove a pole, install a new pole and other associated works. Alternative route via A3102 - A4 - C113 - Wick Hill from Maude Heaths Causeway North East to Turf House Lane - Turf House Lane -C118 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 15 July 2024 and the closure will be required for 3 days. For further information please contact Openreach on 0800 023 2023. C) Bowds Lane, Brinkworth and Tockenham; from its junction with C120 to its junction with A3102 to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out verge overrun works and other associated works. Alternative route via A3102 - C120 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 15 July 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:00 and 17:00 for 5 days. D) Parkside (Part), Chippenham; from outside its property known as No.07 Parkside to outside its property known as No.08 Parkside to enable Openreach to carry out ducting installation in carriageway, footway and associated works. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 19 July 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. Alternative route via A361 - A342 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 18 July 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 2 days. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: F) C414 (Part), Purton; from its junction with Battlewell for a distance of approximately 325m in a southerly direction to enable Openreach to carry out pole replacement work and other associated works. Alternative route via C414 (unaffected length) - Coped Hall - B4042 - B4696 - B4040 - B4553 - C414 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 23 June 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:00 and 14:00 for 1 day. For further information please contact Openreach on 0800 023 2023. G) Park Lane (Part), Lea and Cleverton; from the entrance to its property known as Park Farm to the entrance to its property known as The Byre to enable Scottish and Southern Power Distribution to carry out excavations across the carriageway for a new connection and associated works. Alternative route via Park Lane (unaffected length) - Park Lane West to Greenhill Farm - Pink Lane - Brickyard Hill and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 24 June 2024 and the closure will be required until 28 June 2024. H) Werg (Part), Mildenhall; from outside its property known as Werg Garden for a distance of approximately 100m in a southerly direction to enable Thames Water to carry out water repairs and associated maintenance works. Alternative route via Werg (unaffected length) - Cock-A-Troop Lane - Chopping Knife Lane - Stitchcombe and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 24 June 2024 and the closure will be required for 5 days. For further information please contact Thames Water on 0800 316 9800. I) Stainers Way (Part), Chippenham; from its junction with Blackberry Close to its junction with Curlew Drive to enable Wessex Water to carry out replacement of defective manhole frame and cover and associated works. Alternative route via Stainers Way (unaffected length) - A350 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 25 June 2024 and the closure will be required for 2 days. For further information please contact Wessex Water on 0345 6004600. J) Phase 1: C111 (Part), Bremhill; from its junction with C135 to outside the property known as Hillside View. Phase 2: C111 (Part), Hilmarton; from its junction with C135 to its junction with Footpath 11A, Hilmarton to enable Wessex Water to carry out boreholes and other associated works. Alternative route phase 1: via C135 - C118 - C111 (unaffected length) and vice versa. Alternative route phase 2 northbound: via Catcomb Street - Quakers Lane - A3102 - C111 (unaffected length). Alternative route phase 2 southbound: via C111 (unaffected length) - A3102 - C118 - C135. This Order will come into operation for phase 1 on 24 June 2024 and the closure will be required for 3 days. Phase 2 will come into operation on 25 June 2024 and the closure will be required for 2 days. For further information please contact Wessex Water on 0345 600 3600. Orders A) to J) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made an Order to temporarily introduce a 7.5T weight restriction with an exemption for agricultural vehicles and those accessing business and premises on the following lengths of roads: A) Bowds Lane, Brinkworth, Tockenham and Lyneham and Bradenstoke; from its junction with Trow Lane to its junction with A3102. B) C120 Trow Lane (Part), Brinkworth and Tockenham; from its junction with Sodom Lane to its junction with A3012. C) C76 Cheesley Hill (Part), Brinkworth and Tockenham; from its junction with Sodom Lane to its junction with A3012. Due to: reasons of highway safety and risk of serious damage due to the commencement of reconstruction works of the carriageway at Lyneham Banks. The restrictions will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. The restriction will come into operation on 23 June 2024 and is anticipated to be required until the completion of the land slippage works at Lyneham Banks. THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (VARIOUS ROADS)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily, to all vehicles, the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this notice. The Order, which previously came into operation on 23 October 2023 will now recommence on 29 June 2024. It is required to enable carriageway patching, surface dressing and associated maintenance works. The Order has a maximum duration period of 18 months. It is anticipated that advance signs will be deployed 2 weeks prior to the closure dates. Access will be maintained where possible although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The closures are anticipated to take place between 29 June 2024 and 03 August 2024. Schedule 1. C14 (Part), Malmesbury; from its junction with B4040 to county boundary. 2. Shipton Lane, Great Somerford; from its junction with West Street to its junction with Hollow Street. 3. Breach Lane, Royal Wootton Bassett; from its junction with Greenway to its junction with A3102. 7. Withy Bed, Clyffe Pypard; from its junction with C120 to its junction with C15. 8. Woodlands Road, Chippenham; from its junction with A420 to its junction with Sheldon Road. 9. Sheldon Corner, Chippenham Without; from its junction with A420 to its junction with A4. 10. A345 (Part), Pewsey; from its junction with C52 for a distance of approximately 800m in a south easterly direction. 14. Vicarage Lane, Upavon; from its junction with A342 for its entire length. 15. A345 (Part), Upavon, Rushall and North Newnton; from its junction with A342 to its junction with C351. Alternative routes (vice versa) 1. Via B4040 - Birch Hill North -Whitehouse Lane - C14. 2. Via Hollow Street - Top Street - West Street. 3. Via Dauntsey Road - Top Street - Park Lane - The Street. 4. No alternative route is available. 5. Via A433 -Tetbury Road. 6. Via Greenway - Preston Lane - A3102. 7. Via C15 - Phelps Lane - Broadtown Road - Highden Lane - C119. 8. Via A420 - Audley Road - Sheldon Road. 9. Via A420 - A350 - A4. 10.
