TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS
Derby City Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit use of the roads by traffic.

TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF LEFT TURN ORDER ON DERBY ROAD, DERBY

WHEN: 24 June 2024 to 12 August 2024 (20:00 to 06:00 Only)

WHERE: Derby Road, suspension of left turn into Asda

REASON: Construction work

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Derby Road – Aspen Road

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON RAYNESWAY AND A52 EASTBOUND OFF-SLIP, DERBY

WHEN: 25 June 2024 to 26 June 2024 (20:00 to 06:00 Only)

WHERE: Raynesway, from the Derby Road/Acorn Way/Raynesway Roundabout to A5111 Raynesway. And A52 Eastbound off-slip to Raynesway

REASON: Horticultural maintenance

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Southbound: Derby Road – Spondon Roundabout – A52 Eastbound – Victoria Avenue – A52 Westbound – Raynesway. Northbound: A52 Westbound – Circumnavigate The Pentagon – A52 Eastbound – Spondon Roundabout – Derby Road. From A52 Eastbound: A52 Eastbound – Victoria Avenue – A52 Westbound – Raynesway

TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF RIGHT TURN ORDERS ON DERBY ROAD, DERBY

WHEN: 22 July 2024 to 11 September 2024

WHERE: Derby Road, suspension of right turn into and out of Asda

REASON: Construction work

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Derby Road – Circumnavigate Spondon Roundabout – Derby Road. And Derby Road – Circumnavigate roundabout at Derby Road/Raynesway/Acorn Way junction – Derby Road.

TEMPORARY LANE CLOSURE ORDER ON MEADOW LANE, DERBY

WHEN: 8 July 2024 to 23 July 2024

WHERE: Meadow Lane at its junction with Nottingham Road REASON: Construction works

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Nottingham Road – The Crescent – Meadow Lane – Albert Road – Eden road – Derby Road and the same in the opposite direction Meadow Lane – The Crescent – Nottingham Road

Derby City Council (Burton Road) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting) (Amendment to Map Based Schedule) (No.139) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Derby City Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 9, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and under the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers in that behalf:

The purpose of the Order will be to bring in to effect the following restrictions:

Proposals:

Proposed No Waiting (At Any Time) on Burton Road from outside Number 418 to outside number 350 except for a Bus Stop Clearway Marking (outside number 400) and the following proposed unrestricted parking bays outside: -

• No. 408 for an approximate distance of 13 metres
• No. 406a for an approximate distance of 19 metres
• No. 358 for an approximate distance of 15 metres
• No. 356 for an approximate distance of 10 metres

Proposed No Waiting (At Any Time) on Burton Road from outside number 297 to outside number 369 Burton Road except for a Bus Stop Clearway Marking (outside number 327) and the following proposed unrestricted parking bays outside: -

• No. 297 for an approximate distance of 16 metres
• No. 303 for an approximate distance of 10 metres
• No. 307 for an approximate distance of 10 metres
• The Orchards to Dean Court for an approximate distance of 16 metres.
• Its junction with Whitaker Gardens for an approximate distance of distance of 50 metres.
• No.363 for an approximate distance of 15 metres.
• No.367 for an approximate distance of 5 metres.

Objections to the proposals stating your grounds of objection should be sent, in writing, to Traffic & Transportation, Communities and Place, Derby City Council, The Council House, Corporation Street, Derby, DE1 2FS or by email to traffic.management@derby.gov.uk to be received no later than 12th July 2024.
