Haltwhistle, Temporary Road Closure Due To Drainage Works
What is happening?
NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1) C329 PARK VILLAGE TO BRIDGE END, FEATHERSTONE HALTWHISTLE (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C329 Park Village To Bridge End Featherstone Haltwhistle from its junction with the C324 heading westwards for a distance of 1190 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 10th July 2024 until the 31st October 2024. It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 10th July 2024 until the 12th July 2024 between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 31st October 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the U7021, C324 and vice versa. Enquiries should be made to Northumberland County Council's Contact Centre 0345 600 6400 or at https://one.network (enter the road number and road name). - Ref:139151951.
The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carryout drainage, haunch repairs and carriageway resurfacing works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
