What is happening?

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (A809, Stockiemuir Road, Strathblane)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic - No 3) Order 2024 under the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 14-6-24.

This Order will close:

A809, Stockiemuir Road From its junction with the B821 to its junction with the Stirling Council / East Dunbarton Council boundary from 0800 hours until 1800 hours from 9-7-24 until 12-7-24 to facilitate surfacing works.

Emergency service access will be maintained

Alternative Routes: via A809, A811, A81, Strathblane Road (Milngavie), Glasgow Road (Milngavie), B8030 Main Street (Milngavie), B8050 Park Road (Milngavie), Craigdhu (Milngavie), A809 and vice versa

Overheight vehicles via A809, A811, A875, A81, Strathblane Road (Milngavie), Glasgow Road (Milngavie), B8030 Main Street (Milngavie), B8050 Park Road (Milngavie), Craigdhu (Milngavie), A809 and vice versa

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (B834, Killearn) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic and Suspension of Parking) Order 2024 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 14-6-24

This Order will close:

B834 From its junction with the A81 to its junction with Napier Road.

This Order will also suspend the parking on: B834 On both sides of the road from its junction with the Napier Road in a south-westerly direction for a distance of 425 metres or thereby from 8 July 2024 until 12 July 2024 to facilitate public utility works.

Emergency service access will be maintained.

Alternative Route: via B834, A875, A81 and vice versa.

The COUNCIL propose to make the Stirling Council (On-Street Parking Spaces for Disabled Persons) (Revocation No 87) Order 2024 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

The ORDER will remove the disabled persons parking space at the location detailed in the Schedule hereto.

Objectors must state their reasons in writing to the Head of Service, Environment and Place by emailing traffic@stirling.gov.uk quoting the appropriate reference by 12-7-24.

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (Gartness Road, Killearn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 14-6-24.

The ORDER will close:-

Gartness Road From its junction with the A81 to its junction with the A811 from 22-6-24 until 25-8-24 to ensure that formal diversion routes are adhered to and no damage is caused to the road verge.

Residents and Emergency Services Access will be maintained.

Alternative Route: via A81, A811 and vice versa
