Bolton Road - Temporary Road Closure For Works
What is happening?
Notice is hereby given that Salford City Council made the Salford City Council (A666 Bolton Road) (Temporary Road Closure) 2024 under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The night time closure will close A666 Bolton Road - between Irlams o’ th’ Height roundabout and junction of Hospital Road.
The Diversions are set out below.
The road closures are required as part of SBNI bus lane scheme on A666 south.
The order is intended to come into operation on Monday 1st July 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier.
The works are expected to be completed by Monday 19th August 2024. The closures will be in place between the hours of 7:00pm to 6:00am each night. The exact dates of when each phase of the closures will take place has not been confirmed yet.
This information will be shared closer to the start of the works via our comms team.
A copy of the Order and a plan of the area may be examined at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm to Fri inclusive.
