HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:
TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATH ELSTREE & BOREHAMWOOD 48
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has extended, with consent of the Secretary of State, the Order which was made under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. To prohibit pedestrians from using that length of Footpath Elstree & Borehamwood 48, from Warenford Way to Gateshead Road, for an approximate distance of 110 metres.
Alternative route: via Warenford Way, Brook Road and Gateshead Road
The purpose of the Order is to enable demolition works to take place.
The section of Footpath will continue to be closed for up to 12 months until 21/12/2024
or completion of the works whichever is sooner.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF CHERRY TREE LANE, REDBOURN) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Cherry Tree Lane, Redbourn from its junction with the Hogg End Lane/ Green Lane roundabout north westwards to its junction with Buncefield Lane, a distance of approximately 542m ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via Green Lane, Boundary Way and Three Cherry Trees Lane. The Order is needed because resurfacing works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 9 July 2024 for a period of up to
18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated
by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF VARIOUS PUBLIC FOOTPATHS AND FOOTPATH IN
ST ALBANS) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using the following lengths of public footpaths ("the Public Footpaths") and footpath ("the Footpath"):-
1. that length of Harpenden Public Footpath No.017 from its junction with Roundwood Park south westwards for a distance of approximately 131m.
An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the north east side of Roundwood Park, the footway situated on the north west side of Park Hill, the footway situated on the south west side of A1081 Luton Road, the footway situated on the north west side of Moreton End Lane, the footway situated on the north west side of Alders End Lane, the footway situated on the north west side of Claygate Avenue, the footway situated on the north west side of Townsend Lane, Harpenden Rural Public Footpath No.011 and Harpenden Public Footpath No.017.
2. that length of Harpenden Public Footpath No.017 from a point 131m south west of its junction with Roundwood Park south westwards for a distance of approximately 461m. An alternative route will be via Harpenden Public Footpath No.017, the footway situated on the north east side of Roundwood Park, the footway situated on the north west side of Park Hill, the footway situated on the south west side of A1081 Luton Road, the footway situated on the north west side of Moreton End Lane, the footway situated on the north west side of Alders End Lane, the footway situated on the north west side of Claygate Avenue, the footway situated on the north west side of Townsend Lane, Harpenden Rural Public Footpath No.011 and Harpenden Public Footpath No.017.
3. that length of Harpenden Rural Public Footpath No.011 from its junction with Harpenden Public Footpath No.017 south westwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 153m.
An alternative route will be via Harpenden Public Footpath No.017, the footway situated on the north east side of Roundwood Park, the footway situated on the north west side of Park Hill, the footway situated on the south west side of A1081 Luton Road, the footway situated on the north west side of Moreton End Lane, the footway situated on the north west side of Alders End Lane, the footway situated on the north west side of Claygate Avenue, the footway situated on the north west side of Townsend Lane, Harpenden Rural Public Footpath No.011 and Harpenden Public Footpath No.017.
4. the footpath situated on the south west side of 'Prae Wood Primary School', St Albans from da point in line with the north west boundary of 'Prae Wood Primary School' south eastwards, north eastwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 105m. An alternative route will be via the footpath situated to the rear of Nos.1-12 Deva Close, the footpath situated on the south west side of No.139 Westfields, the footway situated on the south west side of Westfields, the footway situated on the north west side of Dubrae Close and the footpath situated on the south west and north west sides of No.30 Corinium Gate.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Public Footpaths and Footpath.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 8 July 2024 for a period of up to 6 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Public Footpaths and Footpath.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN GUILDFORD ROAD, ST ALBANS) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Guildford Road, St Albans from its junction with Hedley Road south westwards, north westwards and south westwards to its junction with Maxwell Road, a distance of approximately 286m ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via Hedley Road and Maxwell Road. ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 8 July 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ST ALBANS CITY PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.067) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using St Albans City Public Footpath No.067 from its junction with Springfield Road north eastwards to its junction with Camp Road, a distance of approximately 66m ("the Public Footpath").
An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the north side of Springfield Road, the footway situated on the east side of Cell Barnes Lane and the footway situated on the south side of Camp Road.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Public Footpath.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 8 July 2024 for a period of up to 6 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Public Footpath.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Rectory Lane, Shenley from a point 340m north east of its junction with Harris Lane north eastwards for a distance of approximately 40m ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via Rectory Lane, B5378 (London Road/Black Lion Hill/ Shenleybury), B556 (Bell Lane/Ridge Hill) and Rectory Lane. The Order is needed because gas service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 6 July 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SHEEPCOTE LANE, WHEATHAMPSTEAD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Sheepcote Lane, Wheathampstead from a point 205m north east of its junction with Marford Road north eastwards for a distance of approximately 40m ("the Road").
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because water service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 10 July 2024 for a period of up to
18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated
by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN SUMMERHOUSE LANE, ALDENHAM) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Summerhouse Lane, Aldenham from its junction with Hilfield Lane north eastwards to its junction with Primrose Lane, a distance of approximately 723m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Hilfield Lane, B462 Radlett Road and Primrose Lane. ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 24 June 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Southdown Road, Harpenden from its junction with Marlborough Park north westwards for a distance of approximately 120m ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via Southdown Road, Walkers Road, A1081 St Albans Road, Bull Road and Southdown Road.
The Order is needed because bridge inspection works are proposed to be executed near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 24 June 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the service road fronting Nos.330-340 Camp Road, St Albans from its easternmost junction with Camp Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 17m ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via Camp Road and the service road fronting Nos.330-340 Camp Road.
The Order is needed because gas service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Leyton Road, Harpenden from a point in line with the southern boundary of No.33 Leyton Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 20m ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via Leyton Road, West Common Road, A1081 St Albans Road, Bull Road and Leyton Road.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

An alternative route will be via Hemel Hempstead Road, The Common, Fish Street, High Street, B487 Redbourn Bypass and Hemel Hempstead Road. The Order is needed because gas service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PEPPARD CLOSE, REDBOURN) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Peppard Close, Redbourn from a point 35m south west of its junction with Dunstable Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 50m ("the Road"). There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because electrical repair works are proposed to be executed near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 24 June 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of B651 Lamer Lane, Wheathampstead from its junction with Plough Lane south eastwards for a distance of approximately 212m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via B651 (Lamer Lane/Kimpton Road/Ballslough Hill/High Street), B652 (High Street/Kimpton Bottom/Bower Heath Lane), B653 Lower Luton Road and B651 Lamer Lane.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 24 June 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
