(C96 Horndean) (Temporary Closing) Order 2024

The Scottish Borders Council (C96 Horndean) (Temporary Closing) Order 2024 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 07:00 on 27 June 2024 and is expected to remain in effect until 18:00 on 8 July 2024 – 24 hour closure. The Order is required for Scottish Power works. When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the C96 at Horndean between the B6461 and B6470. The alternative route for southbound traffic is via the C96, B6461, B6437, B6470 and C96 to the point of closure, for northbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
