ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
PART OF BLACK CARR ROAD WICKERSLEY ROTHERHAM
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Black Carr Road from its junction with A631 Bawtry Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a northerly direction for periods of time between Monday 24th June Friday 28th June 2024.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order is via local neighbouring streets.
The reason for the prohibition is works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Installation of telecommunications apparatus).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
PARTS OF A630 CENTENARY WAY CANKLOW ROTHERHAM
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of A630 Centenary Way, Canklow in both directions at separate times, between Ickles Roundabout and its junction with Amer Street and between its junction with Brinsworth Street and Ickles Roundabout on one occasion of five nights, in the period between Monday 1st July and Sunday 7th July 2024, and, five occasions in the period between Monday 9th December 2024 and Friday 10th January 2025 all between the hours of 8pm and 5am each day.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route will be via A629 New Wortley Road, A6109 Wilton Gardens, A6109 Wilton Lane, A6109 Meadowbank Road, Tinsley viaduct lower deck, A6178 Sheffield Road and vice versa.
The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Alteration and removal of traffic management associated with the Centenary Way viaduct repairs).

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Symonds Avenue from its junction with Kay Crescent to its junction with Haugh Road from Wednesday 3rd. July until Friday 12th. July 2024.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via Haugh Road, Green Rise, Harding Avenue and vice versa.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Installation of new sewer).

VARIOUS ROADS AND FOOTPATHS ROTHERHAM TOWN CENTRE
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC AND PEDESTRIANS)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the parts of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice and to prohibit any pedestrian from proceeding along the parts of footpath specified in the Schedule to this notice for up to 25 occasions and varying times between Monday 1st. July 2024 and Monday 30th. June 2025. Advance notice to affected businesses will be provided by the Council’s events team.
NOTICE is further given that there will be no alternative routes for vehicles affected by the Order. Access will be allowed for emergency vehicles only.
The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the parts of road and footpaths (To provide a sterile area/s to prevent all vehicles from coming into conflict with pedestrians and/or event attendees and organisers within the general town centre for numerous events annually).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Avenue Road from its junction with Beech Road link road for a distance of approximately 50m in a northerly direction from Tuesday 25th. June until Friday 28th. June 2024.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order is via Avenue Road, Sandymount Road link and vice versa.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Gas renewal works).

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order is via Poplar Avenue, Doncaster Road, Park Lane and vice versa
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Replacement of manhole cover and frame).

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order is via Upper Wortley Road and vice versa.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Telecom works).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrian from proceeding along that part of Public Footpath No.12 Greasbrough commencing from its junction with Clough Road and proceeding in a north westerly direction for 300m to a point at its junction with Public footpath No. 13 Greasbrough from Saturday 29th. June 2024 for a period of 3 months.
NOTICE is further given that there is no alternative route for pedestrians affected by the Order.
Reason for the prohibition – because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the footpath.

A630 ROTHERHAM GATEWAY/M1 J33 ROUNDABOUT A630 ROTHERWAY AND A630 ROTHERHAM GATEWAY CANKLOW ROTHERHAM
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the four parts of road specified in the Schedule to this notice from 10pm on Monday 1st. July until 6am on Tuesday 2nd. July and from 10pm on Tuesday 2nd. July until 6am on Wednesday 3rd. July 2024.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the order will be via A630 West Bawtry Road, A630 Centenary Way, A6178 Sheffield Road, A631 Tinsley Roundabout, A631 Shepcote Lane, Greenland Road, Main Road and Handsworth Road.
The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the parts of road (Installation of temporary traffic management).
SCHEDULE
(i) A630 Rotherham Gateway/M1 J33 Roundabout, the eastern motorway bridge from the M1 south entry slip road to the A630 Rotherham Gateway eastbound junction.
(ii) To prohibit any vehicle travelling south along A630 Rotherway from proceeding in any direction other than the M1 southbound.
(iii) A630 Rotherway closed to non-motorway users from its junction with A630 Rotherway/West Bawtry Road roundabout southbound.
(iv) A630 Rotherham Gateway in a westerly direction from its junction with the A630 Rotherham Gateway/ M1 J33 Roundabout, Canklow to its junction with the exit slip road to Poplar Way.
