Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough has made an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024 – City Road, Peterborough. Ref: 25-063
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as City Road, as lies between Northminster and St Johns Street. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Northminster, New Road, St Johns Street. The proposed order will come into force on the 22/06/2024 and will continue until the telecommunications works have been completed or until the 21/06/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 22/06/2024 and the 24/06/2024. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above roads. The alternative routes for vehicles affected by this order are detailed in the schedule. The proposed order will come into force on the 24/06/2024 and will continue until the crack sealing works have been completed or until the 23/06/2025, whichever is the earlier. The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024 – Natures Way and Jones Hill. Ref: 25-073
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the roads known as Natures Way and Jones Hill. Natures Way south of its junction with West Lake Avenue and Jones Hill at its junction with Natures Way. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: West Lake Avenue, Four Chimneys Crescent, Jones Hill and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 24/06/2024 and will continue until the installation of water mains works have been completed or until the 23/06/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 24/06/2024 and the 05/07/2024. The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as A1139 Frank Perkins Parkway Roundabout 5 Northbound On Slip, as lies between J5 and J7. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: A1139 Frank Perkins Parkway Northbound, Frank Perkins Parkway J4, Frank Perkins Parkway, Frank Perkins Parkway Southbound and Boongate J5. The proposed order will come into force on the 24/06/2024 and will continue until the street lighting cable replacement works have been completed or until the 23/06/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place overnight between 20:00hrs and 06:00hrs from the 24/06/2024 to the 13/07/2024. The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Whittlesey Road, Stanground, as lies between Park Farm Way and Oakdale Avenue. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: A605 Stanground Bypass, Stanham Way, A1139 Fletton Parkway J3a, Fletton Parkway Link Road, Fletton Parkway J4 and Whittlesey Road. The proposed order will come into force on the 24/06/2024 and will continue until the street lighting upgrade works have been completed or until the 23/06/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs from the 24/06/2024 to the 09/08/2024. Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough intends in not less than seven days to make an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order – Peterborough 45 Section 1 Footpath, Fengate, Peterborough – 2024. Ref: 25-077
The effect of which is to stop any pedestrian or cyclist from proceeding along the footpath/cycle path known as Peterborough 45 Section 1 Footpath, Fengate, Peterborough as lies between Potters Way and Fitzwilliam Bridge. The Council is satisfied that pedestrians and cyclists should be prohibited due to works being proposed to be executed on the above footpath/cycle path. The alternative route for pedestrians and cyclists affected by this order is via: Stanground North Section 1 Footpath, Footpath along the North side of the River Nene between the West of Frank Perkins Parkway and Fitzwilliam Bridge, Boongate to St Johns Rd Cycle Path, Peterborough 44 Section 1 Footpath, Peterborough 45 Section 1 Footpath, Potters Way and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into operation on the 01/07/2024 and will continue until the Nene Washes Scheme works have been completed or until the 30/01/2025, whichever is the earlier. The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as A1260 Nene Parkway J15 to J33 Southbound, as lies between Thorpe Wood & A47 Soke Parkway. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: A47 Soke Parkway, A1139 Paston Parkway, Frank Perkins Parkway, Fletton Parkway and A1260 Nene Parkway. The proposed order will come into force on the 01/07/2024 and will continue until the central reservation barrier repair works have been completed or until the 30/06/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place overnight between 20:00hrs and 06:00hrs from the 01/07/2024 to the 02/07/2024.
