Warwickshire, multiple locations -Road Closure, to allow for Carriageway resurfacing.

What is happening?

Warwickshire County Council

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

D6640 SHIPSTON FIELDS, BRAILES/COMPTON WYNYATES

Order Effect: Road closed between Brailes Road and Shipston Road/Chelmscote Road.

Reason for Order: Carriageway resurfacing works, closed 08.00hrs-17.00 hrs, weekdays only.

Order Commences: 10 July 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 17 July 2024.

Access & Diversion: Chelmscote Road (Castle Hill), Brailes Road and vice versa. Access/Egress to be maintained where possible to businesses and residents only. Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
