Coke Lane, Rotherham Town Centre / High Street, Rotherham Town Centre - Temporary Prohibition of Traffic
What is happening?
ROTHERHAM METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
PART OF COKE LANE ROTHERHAM TOWN CENTRE
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Coke Lane from its junction with Canklow Road for a distance of 25 metres in an easterly direction from Monday 1st. July until Tuesday 2nd. July 2024 between 7pm and 11pm each day.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative routes for vehicles affected will be via Coke Lane and vice versa.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the part of road (telecommunications works).

PART OF HIGH STREET ROTHERHAM TOWN CENTRE
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of High Street from its junction with Wellgate to its junction with Moorgate Street in phases between Monday 1st. July 2024 and Monday 30th. June 2025.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the order will be via local neighbouring streets.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Development of Snail Yard).
