TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF 481523 LINDEN ROAD (MORELAND WARD) GLOUCESTER CITY
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 481523 Linden Road from its junction with Seymour Road to its junction with Bristol Road for a distance of approximately 330 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for repair works by British Telecom.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF 484058 WINDERMERE ROAD (LONGLEVENS WARD) GLOUCESTER CITY
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 484058 Windermere Road from its junction with Coniston Road to its junction with Grasmere Road for a distance of approximately 260 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for water apparatus repair and maintenance works.

Notice is given in accordance with section 19(1) of the Education and Inspections Act 2006 and the School Organisation (Prescribed Alterations to Maintained Schools) (England) Regulations 2013 that Gloucestershire County Council intends to make a prescribed alteration to Hopebrook C of E Primary School, Church Road, Longhope, Gloucestershire, GL17 0LL from 1st September 2024.
The proposal seeks approval to permanently extend the age range of Hopebrook C of E Primary School from 4-11 to 3-11 years from 1st September 2024.
The current capacity at the school is 119 and the PAN is 17. The current number of pupils registered at the school is 112.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C74 Hill End Road from its junction with Showborough Common to outside the property known as ‘Bavon Cottages’ for a total distance of approximately 450 metres.
The reason for the closure is for water apparatus installation works.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND RESTRICTION OF C72 LAWN ROAD (ASHLEWORTH PARISH) TEWKESBURY BOROUGH
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the C72 Lawn Road from its junction with Foscombe Lane to its junction with Sawyers Rise for a total distance of approximately 100 metres.
The reason for the intended closure is for gully and embankment works.
The said road is expected to be closed from 08:00hrs on 15th July 2024 until 17:00hrs on 28th July 2024 only or until the works have been completed. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk.
There will be no stopping or waiting or loading permitted throughout the duration of the works.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF 481088 CLEVEDON ROAD (MORELAND WARD) GLOUCESTER CITY
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 481088 Clevedon Road from outside the property known as No. 32 Clevedon Road to outside the property known as No. 37 Clevedon Road for a distance of approximately 15 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for a new sewer connection.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF FOOTPATH EMV16 (MORETON VALENCE PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT
NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of Public Footpath EMV 16 as described in the Schedule below;

Public Footpath EMV 16 from a point extending in a generally south westerly direction for approximately 200 metres to its junction with Public Footpath EMV 9.
The said footpath falls within the Parish of Moreton Valence in the Stroud District, Gloucestershire.
The said closure is necessary to protect the public while construction works, relating to the construction of a solar farms grid route, is completed. (Planning Application S.21/0465/FUL.)
The said Order will come into force on the 12th July 2024, and it is anticipated that the footpath will close on that day until 12th November 2024 but can remain closed, if necessary, until 12th January 2025. After this date, if the closure is still required, it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE A4301 SOUTHGATE STREET (WESTGATE WARD) GLOUCESTER CITY
Gloucestershire County Council intend to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the A4301 Southgate Street from outside No. 136 to outside No. 158 for a total approximate distance of 50 metres.
The reason for the closure is to ensure public safety whilst plant equipment and machinery is removed from premises by lifting it onto haulage vehicles.

TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION A40 GOLDEN VALLEY WESTBOUND, ARLE COURT TO SLIP ROAD (THE REDDINGS WARD) CHELTENHAM BOROUGH
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily restrict part of the road as described in the Schedule set out below.
Schedule: 40 mph Speed Limit
24 hours a day, for the full duration of the works
The reason for the above restriction is for carriageway maintenance works in association with the West of Cheltenham Transport Improvement Scheme (WCTIS Phase 1).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH EBR 27 (BROOKTHORPE WITH WHADDON PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT
NOTICE is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport has extended the Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of Public Footpath EBR 27 from its junction with Naas Lane extending in a generally north easterly direction for approximately 302 metres to its junction with Public Footpath EBR 33.
The closure is necessary to safeguard the public due to footpath being obstructed by construction and associated bunding for a fishing lake.
The Public Footpath falls within Brookthorpe with Whaddon Parish in the Stroud District, and County of Gloucestershire.
The Order came into force on the 23rd January 2023 and works were expected to have been completed on the 22nd July 2023. However, the works were not completed and the Secretary of State granted an extension until 23rd July 2024. As works are still ongoing the Secretary of State has granted a further extension until 23rd January 2025 or until the works are complete, whichever is earliest.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH EBW9 (BROCKWORTH PARISH) TEWKESBURY BOROUGH
NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council has made an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of Public Footpath EBW9, in the Parish of Brockworth is to be temporarily closed to users under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) in a generally easterly direction for approximately 70 metres to its junction with Cycleway from southwest of 8 Nightjar Road to northeast of Ribble Close.
The said Footpath falls within the Parish of Brockworth in the Tewkesbury Borough in the County of Gloucestershire.
The closure is necessary to safeguard the public whilst footpath repairs are completed.
The Public Footpath was originally closed for 21 days by Emergency Notice commencing 3rd May 2024 and this was extended for a further 21 days from 25th May 2024. However, as it is known that the works to remedy the problem will not be completed within the extended 21 day period it is considered necessary to close the Public Footpath by an Order which can authorise the closure for up to six months from the date of the initial Emergency Notice.
The Order comes into effect on the 11th June 2024 and can remain in force for a period of six months from the date of the initial Emergency Notice. After this date, if the closure is still required it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH EBW/2 (BROCKWORTH PARISH) TEWKESBURY BOROUGH
NOTICE is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport has extended the Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of Public Footpath EBW/2 in the Parish of Brockworth from a point north of Brockworth Court, and running in a generally north westerly direction for approximately 450 metres to a point close to the M5 Motorway.
The closure is necessary for health and safety reasons due to the development of new housing.
This temporary closure Order came into force on the 24th January 2019. An extension was granted by the Secretary of State for Transport until 25th July 2021 and subsequently extended to 25th July 2024. The works are still not complete, and the Secretary of State for Transport has granted a further extension until 25th January 2026 or until the works are complete whichever is earliest.
