Footpath 61 Little Waltham (Chelmsford City) Order 2024
The above Order made on 21 May 2024, if confirmed as made, will modify the Definitive Map for the area by:- 1. Adding a length of public footpath numbered 61 Little Waltham, from Brook Hill at Point A on the Order Plan in a westerly and south westerly direction for a distance of approximately 130 metres to meet Footpath 24 at Point B, approximately 7 metres from its junction with Footpath 59. The width of the way is 2 metres.
A copy of the Order and the Order map may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at the Chelmsford Library, Market Road, where copies will be available on request at a charge. Copies can also be viewed on the Essex Highways website www.essexhighways.org/public-path-notices and have been sent to Chelmsford City Council.
Any representation or objection relating to the Order must be sent in writing to the Director for Essex Legal Services, Essex County Council, Seax House, Victoria Road South, Chelmsford, Essex, CM1 1QH, to arrive not later than 8 August 2024 and it is requested that the grounds on which it is made are stated.
If no representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Essex County Council, instead of submitting the Order to the Secretary of State, may itself confirm the Order. If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, any representations or objections, which have been duly made and not withdrawn, will be sent with it.
(Hall Lane, Sandon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hall Lane, Sandon in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Woodhill Road to its end a distance of approximate 430m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th July 2024 for 105 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30095752273 – UK Power Networks).
The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct installation works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
There is no alternative route available.
The Order will come into effect on 27th June 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Main Road, Rettendon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Main Road, Rettendon in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with South Hanningfield Road to its junction with Rettendon Turnpike a distance of approximately 3150m.
2. To temporarily introduce a ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ in the above length of road for the duration of the closure only.
“The Essex County Council (Chelmsford City) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The closure/clearway is scheduled to commence on 1st July 2024 for 4 nights (20:00-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2357088 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure/clearway is required for the safety of the public and workforce while signage installation and vegetation clearance works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Rettendon Turnpike, Runwell Road, Church End Lane, Brock Hill, Hawkswood Road, South Hanningfield Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 13th June 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
