Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(C2159 Littleheath Lane, Lickey End) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of Closure 1: C2159 Littleheath Lane from its junction with U21561 Meadowvale Road to its junction with B4096 Alcester Road. Closure 2: C2159 Littleheath Lane from its junction with U21561 Meadowvale Road for a distance of 40 metres in an easterly direction.

Reason: New replacement gas main by Cadent Gas.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4096 Alcester Road, U21561 Meadowvale Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 33 days.

Commencing: 15 July 2024.

(C2080 Shaftland Cross to Phepson, Himbleton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2080 Shaftland Cross to Phepson from its junction with C2032 Harrow Lane to its junction with U42207 Sale Green Road.

Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2032 Harrow Lane, C2118 Himbleton to Grafton Flyford, C2118 Grafton Flyford to Himbleton, C2077 Grafton Flyford to A422 Worcester Road, A422 Worcester Road, A422 Broughton Hackett to Upton Snodsbury, C2078 Broughton Hackett to Crowle, C2078 Church Road, C2032 Old Turnpike Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 15 July 2024 and 2 August 2024.

(C2077 Trench Lane, Oddingley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of C2077 Trench Lane from its junction with U42212 Skergens Lane to its junction with junction with U42222 Trench Lane.

Reason: Drainage and flood alleviation works by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

No access for emergency services, diversion route must be followed.

Alternative route: C2077 Trench Lane (part), C2156 Captains Lane, C2156 Hay Lane, C20802 Goosehill Lane, C21541 Saleway and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 24 June 2024.

(C2074 Doverdale Lane, Hampton Lovett) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of Doverdale Lane from its junction with U40406 Horton Lane to its junction with U40412 Doverdale Lane.

Reason: To provide safe working access to BT poles by Openreach.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2074 Doverdale Lane, A442 Kidderminster Road, C2146 Broad Common, C2146 Sneads Green to Cutnall Green, C2145 Crown Lane to Mount Pleasant, C2144 Crown Lane, A449 Mitre Oak to Crown Lane, A449 Sytchampton to Mitre Oak, C2074 Doverdale Lane and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 days. Commencing: 25 June 2024.

(U41417 Primsland Way, Droitwich Spa) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U41417 Primsland Way from its junction with U41407 York Avenue to its junction with U41242 Newland Road.

Reason: Carriageway Patching for Surface Dressing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U41407 York Avenue, U41408 Windsor Road, U41424 Newland Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 15 July and 26 July 2024.

(U21400 Lower Shepley Lane, Lickey End) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of U21400 Lower Shepley Lane from its junction with C2159 Littleheath Lane to its junction with U21401 Spirehouse Lane.

Reason: Replacement gas main by Cadent Gas.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2159 Littleheath Lane, U21561 Meadowvale Road, B4096 Alcester Road, U21401 Spirehouse Lane, U21400 Lower Shepley Lane and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 19 days (24hrs). Commencing: 24 June 2024.

(C2280 Wildmoor Lane, Catshill) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of C2280 Wildmoor Lane from its junction with U21551 Cobnall Road to its junction with U20203 Mill Lane.

Reason: To provide safe working for BT pole replacement by Openreach.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2280 Wildmoor Lane (part), B4185 Meadow Road, B4091 Stourbridge Road, A491 Sandy Lane, C2280 Top Road, C2280 Wildmore Lane and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 21 June 2024.

(C2085 Addis Lane, Cutnall Green) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2085 Addis Lane from its junction with A442 Kidderminster Road to its junction with Bryans Green.

Reason: Drainage and flood alleviation work by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A442 Kidderminster Road, C2146 Broad Alley, C2085 Addis Lane and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 15 July 2024.

(C2062 Dordale Road, Bournheath) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of C2062 Dordale Road from its junction with C2059 Woodcote Lane to its junction with U20218 Waystone Lane.

Reason: New customer connection by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2062 Dordale Road (part), C2062 Doctors Hill, B4091 Stourbridge Road, A491 Stourbridge Road, A491 Bromsgrove Road, B4188 Hartle Lane, B4188 High Street, C2062 Church Road, C2062 Bradford Lane, C2062 Dordale Road (part) and vice versa.

SECTION 23 ESTABLISHMENT OF A PUFFIN CROSSING ON B4551

BROMSGROVE ROAD, ROMSLEY

NOTICE is hereby given that Worcestershire County Council propose to establish a Puffin Crossing to serve pedestrians in Romsley as follows:

The site of the crossing will be located on B4551 Bromsgrove Road, Romsley at a point 218 metres north of its junction with Poplar Lane and 312 metres south of its junction with St Kenelms Road.

[Prohibition of Waiting on Blackfriars Avenue, Droitwich]

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to an prohibit waiting at any time on the following length and sides of road in Droitwich:-

Blackfriars Avenue, Droitwich - From a point 10 metres northeast of its junction with Old Coach Road for a distance of 18 metres in a north easterly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons vehicles. (Various Roads, Finstall) (Revocation) and (30 mph Speed Limit) and Order 2024

The Worcestershire County Council are to revoke The County of Hereford and Worcester (Restricted Roads) (No 14) Order 1980 30mph Speed Limit, Heydon Road, Finstall Village, Bromsgrove (Revocation), Various Roads, Finstall (Restricted Roads) Order 2002 (Variation) and (Various Roads, Finstall) (30 mph Speed Limit) Order 2014 Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to impose 30 miles per hour Speed Limit on the following lengths of roads in Finstall:

B4184 Alcester Road - From its junction with B4184 Finstall Road and C2247 Alcester Road/Stratford Road for a distance of 480 metres in an easterly direction.

B4184 Finstall Road - From its junction with B4184 Alcester Road and C2247 Alcester Road/Stratford Road in a generally south westerly direction to a point 21 metres south east of the centre line of the railway bridge.

C2247 Alcester Road/Stratford Road - From its junction with U21389 Regents Park Road to its junction with B4184 Alcester Road/Finstall Road.

U22015 Heydon Road - For its entire length.

U22017 Pikes Pool Lane - From its junction with C2247 Alcester Road/ Stratford Road for a distance of 25 metres in a northerly direction.

U22018 Penmanor - For its entire length.

There are exemptions in the Order for Special Forces Vehicles.
