NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Keel’s Hill/Firgrove Lane, Peasedown St John, Bath. This will be a rolling road closure with phase 1 starting from a point outside 9 Keel’s Hill extending west to where the road meets Firgrove Lane. Phase 2 will start from a point outside 44 Hillside View extending north to a point just after the track next to 44 Hillside View (on Firgrove Lane). USRN: 47902549/47902505.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Wessex Water to undertake sewer renovation works on the 24th June 2024 for a maximum period of 10 days. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for FIVE DAYS.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Wessex Water to replace 2 x manhole covers in the carriageway on the 27th June 2024 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for ONE NIGHT between 19:00 - 07:00hrs only.

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Lyncombe Vale Road, Lyncombe, Bath from a point outside the property known as Medina, extending south to a point outside the property known as Combe Rise. This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable contractors to carry out essential works to rebuild a wall on the 8th July 2024 for a maximum period of 12 days. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for TWELVE DAYS.
A one-way restriction is currently in force on Rosemount Lane and Forefield Rise meaning that vehicles can only travel in an easterly direction and this is likely to still be in place when Lyncombe Vale Road is closed. This means that residents living north of Medina up to the junction of Rosemount Lane, will need to access their properties from Lyncombe Hill direction (there will be no access from Prior Park Road or Lyncombe Vale/Rosemount Lane).

• A road closure in that length of Lansdown Road, Charlcombe, Bath from its boundary with South Gloucestershire extending south to its junction with Beachwood Lane. USRN: 47902186.
• A suspension of the 7.5 tonne weight limit along the lengths of roads listed in Schedule 1 of this order, as part of the diversion route.
