What is happening?
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS ASHFIELD AVENUE COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on Ashfield Avenue between its junctions with Rod House Close and Tilehurst Drive.
The Order would come into effect from Monday 24th June 2024 is required to allow Severn Trent Water to repair a access chamber frame and cover.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by Monday 24th June 2024.
Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(d) local vehicular access to the closed section Ashfield Avenue and Aspen Close.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS CANLEY PARADE & BIG LUNCH 2024
Coventry City Council (“the Council”) under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, as amended, has made a temporary Order (“the Order”), the purpose of which is to facilitate the holding of and to enable members of the public to attend the Canley Parade and Big Lunch 2024
The Order will come into effect at 10:00am on Saturday 22nd June 2024 until 13:00 hours on Saturday 22nd June 2024.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit all vehicles from entering or proceeding along the entire length of the roads listed in the Schedule below.
Surrounding roads will be managed by Marshals.
The Order will prohibit vehicles to such an extent and at such time as indicated by marshals and prescribed traffic signs. Roads will be re-opened when safe to do so after the parade has passed through.
Exemptions will be provided for any vehicle being used in connection with the event, emergency service vehicles, any person upon the direction of or with the permission of a police officer in uniform or an authorised traffic management event marshal.
Pedestrian access to all properties within the restriction and access through the restriction will be maintained along defined routes throughout the period of the closure.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS ARMED FORCES PARADE 2024
Coventry City Council (“the Council”) under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, as amended, intends to make a temporary Order (“the Order”), the purpose of which is to facilitate the holding of and to enable members of the public to attend Armed Forces Parade 2024
The Order would come into effect at 00.01 hours on Saturday 29th June 2024 and would remain in effect until 13.00 hours on Sunday 30th June 2024.
The effect of the Order would be to prohibit all vehicles from entering or proceeding along Bayley Lane, Hay Lane, Cuckoo and Pepper Lane in both directions.
The effected roads would have advanced warning signs two (2) weeks prior to the parade, however there will be maintained access to any properties in this area.
The Order would prohibit vehicles to such an extent and at such time as indicated signs on site.
Exemptions would be provided for any vehicle being used in connection with the event, emergency service vehicles, any person upon the direction of or with the permission of a police officer in uniform.

PROPOSED TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER CITY OF COVENTRY (TWO FRIARGATE & MANOR ROAD) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that Coventry City Council (“the Council”), pursuant to its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), propose to make the above Traffic Regulation Order (“the Order”).
The Order is proposed to prevent parking and assist traffic flow on a new road (which runs alongside Two Friargate) which connects Manor Road and Station Square and to reduce the length of an existing limited waiting bay on Manor Road.
The new length of road referred to in this Notice, created as part of the infrastructure works around the station is not yet named.
The plan below sets out the new highway layout, with the new road shaded black, and should be referred to when considering the details of the proposed Order. The effect of the proposed Order is:
i) New unnamed road (connecting Manor Road and Station Square) – Introduce a prohibition of waiting (double yellow lines), along the whole length of the new road (both sides of the road).
ii) Manor Road – Reduce the length of the existing parking bay (limited waiting, 8am - 6pm, 20 minutes no return within 1 hour) by 9 metres, replacing the length removed with a prohibition of waiting (double yellow lines).
The restrictions are proposed to assist the movement of traffic within the area.

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on Canley Road from its junction with Ingram Road to its junction with Lynbrook Road.
The Order would come into effect at 9:30 hours on Monday 1st July 2024 and is required to enable a Long Communications pipe to be repaired and renewed safely on the said road.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed by 18.00 hours on Tuesday 9th July 2024.
The specific closure times would apply as the signage indicates on site.
Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic would be as signed on site.
Exemptions would be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(d) local vehicular access to Canley Road

TEMPORARY PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY/FOOTPATH CLOSURES FP HUMBER AVENUE AND IRVING ROAD, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of which would be a closure of the length of the footpath detailed in the Schedule below (when appropriate signage is in place).
The Order would come into operation at 00.01 hours on Friday 5th July 2024, and is required to enable Severn Trent Water to carry out and install a new water supply connection safely.
The maximum duration of this Order is six (6) months but it is expected that the works would be completed by Tuesday 9th July 2024.
The specific closures times would apply as the signage indicates on site.

• That length of Right of Way/Footpath between Humber Avenue and Irving Road
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS A45 BIRMINGHAM ROAD, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from traveling at a speed exceeding 40mph along Birmingham Road A45 (in both directions) between its junctions with Oak Lane and Dunchurch Highway.
The Order would come into effect from 00.01 hours on Saturday 6th July 2024 and is required to allow BT to complete repair works to a damaged access chamber safely.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed by 00.01 hours on Saturday 13th July 2024.
The specific restriction times would apply as the signage indicates on site.
Exemptions would be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
