It is expected that the Order will come into force on 15/07/2024 and have a maximum duration of 1 month. The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 3 days. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The Order will come into force on 28/06/2024 and have a maximum duration of 1 month. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow for the set-up of Noisily in Barkestone Wood. No speed limit imposed by this order applies to vehicles falling within regulation 3(4) of the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011 when used in accordance with regulation 3(5) of those Regulations.

EXTENSION NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Order made by the Leicestershire County Council on 11/01/2024 and which came into effect on 20/01/2024 will be continued in force until 20/07/2025, or until the works have been completed. The effect of the Order is to continue to allow for the closure of that length of footpath as specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice. The footpath is being closed for public safety to continue undertaking the development works safely as site machinery & open excavations are required near the footpath. Any member of the public requiring further information should contact Environment and Transport Department on 0116 3050001. The Leicestershire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused during the duration of the Order.
