Temporary Closure of Compton Street
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Compton Street - from the junction with Castlebrook, eastwards for a total distance of 168 metres.
This Order will enable Mack Utilities to carry out utility asset works for customer connections on behalf of Wessex Internet.
The Order becomes effective on 4th July 2024 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 8th July 2024 and last until 12th July 2024 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 5 days.
