EASTBOUND EXIT SLIP ROAD
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited(a) has made an Order on the A47 Trunk Road in the County of Norfolk to enable nearby third-party communication works to be carried out in safety.
The works are expected to take place over 1 night (9pm - 5am), starting on, or after Thursday 27 June 2024.
The effect of the Order will be to close the A47 eastbound exit slip road at A1074 Longwater Interchange.
Traffic will be diverted to continue eastbound to exit at B1108 Watton Road then return via the A47 westbound to exit at Longwater Interchange and continue their journey.
The closure (which will not apply to emergency service or traffic officer vehicles) and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
The Order will come into force on 24 June 2024 and may continue in force until the works detailed above have been completed, or for a maximum duration of eighteen months, whichever is the earlier.
