What is happening?

CYNGOR SIR DDINBYCH FFYRDD AMRYWIOL, TREMEIRCHION HYSBYSIAD O ORCHYMYN GWAHARDD

Mae Cyngor Sir Ddinbych wedi gwneud Gorchymyn sy'n gwahardd cerbydau rhag defnyddio'r rhannau hynny o ffyrdd y cyfeirir atynt yn yr Atodlen isod.

Mae angen cau'r ffyrdd er mwyn i Gyngor Sir Ddinbych osod wyneb newydd arnynt. Bydd mynediad yn cael ei ganiatau i gerddwyr drwy gydol y cyfnod cau.

Bydd arwyddion yn dangos y ffordd arall fel y nodiryn yr Atodlen.

Daw'r Gorchymyn i rym ar 26 Mehefin 2024 am gyfnod o ddeunaw mis neu nes cwblheir y gwaith, pa un bynnag sydd gyntaf. Disgwylir i'r gwaith bara tan tua 30 Medi 2024.

1. Y ffordd a elwir yn ffordd Salisbury Arms i Aelwyd Ucha, o'r gyffordd a Ffordd Travellers I Salisbury Arms tua'r de-orllewin am oddeutu 375 metr.

2. Hyd cyfan y ffordd a elwir yn Ffordd Travellers i Salisbury Arms, Tremeirchion.

Ffordd amqen:

1. Traffig tua'r gorllewin ar hyd ffordd Travellers Inn i ffin y sir yn Nhremeirchion A55, Hen Ffordd yr A55 Allt Rhuallt, a'r B5429

2. Traffig tua'r dwyrain ar y B5429, hen Allt Rhuallt yr A55, pontffordd uwchben yr A55 ar dop Hen Ffordd Rhuallt, Ffordd Treffynnon o Ben y Rhos i'r A55, A55 (tua'r dwyrain), cylchfan Crossways North a throsbont A5151, cylchfan Crossways South B5122, a'rA55 (tua'r gorllewin).

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER

DENBIGHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL VARIOUS ROADS TREMEIRCHION NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1)

Denbighshire County Council has made an Order prohibiting vehicles using the lengths of road referred to in the Schedule below.

The closure is necessary to facilitate resurfacing by Denbighshire County Council Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

The signposted alternative route will be as stated in the Schedule.

The Order is effective from 26th June 2024 for an eighteen-month period or the earlier completion of the works whichever is soonest. The works are expected to last approximately until 30th September 2024.

Schedule

Lengths of road at Tremeirchion in the County of Denbigh

1. The road known as Salisbury Arms to Aelwyd Ucha, from its junction with Travellers to Salisbury Arms road, in a south westerly direction for a distance of approximately 375 metres.

2. The entire length of the road known as Travellers to Salisbury Arms Road, Tremeirchion.

Alternative route:

1. Westbound traffic via Travellers Inn to Tremeirchion county boundary A55, Old A55 Rhuallt Hill, and B5429.

2. Eastbound traffic via B5429, old A55 Rhuallt Hill, flyover above A55 at top of Old Rhuallt Road, Holywell Road from Pen y Rhos to A55, A55 (eastbound), Crossways North roundabout, and overbridge A5151, Crossways South roundabout B5122, and A55 (westbound)
